Agreed 100 percent. I don't see anything wrong with this pairing. o_O

She lacks this thing called a "penis." It's a cruel, cruel condition, but hopefully, she'll manage to live on.

Ah... I suppose there's a reason why this fandom's sometimes called "gayass" huh xD
Mmm. I'm actually hoping for a nice LuluxKallen ending - provided they both live of course.

Well, the fandom has a strong bias toward certain pairings—which is fine!—I just don't see why you have to necessarily hate a character or a pairing just to like your yaoi one as well. For example, I love Suzaku/Euphemia, Suzaku/Kallen, and am even lukewarm on Suzaku/Anya, but I also enjoy Suzaku/Gino quite a bit (even more after this episode). I don't see why I have to necessarily hate one of the aforementioned or the latter for having that kind of interaction, especially canonical interaction (see: with Euphemia).

Given the fandom's preference toward yaoi, it tends to lead toward a lot of girl bashing, unfortunately, but it happens in many other fandoms, too (for example: in Vampire Knight, the two main pairings are heterosexual, and it's a love triangle, so someone ends up getting the "STUPID DICK MUST DIE" label in the end). I don't see why you can't just overlook one.

But I guess I'm idealistic. It makes me embittered toward certain pairings because of the behavior that tends to come with it.

Same here. I'm on the fence with Lelouch/C.C. but they've managed to convince me that it also works, so :3

Basically I love going with whatever's canon, and I rather dislike it when I see it being bashed like that.

...Ah, VK. Well I think I'd be more involved in it and more supportive of one of those mentioned het ships if the female lead were less fickle. As it is I've come to realize why my sister prefers Kaname/Zero over everything else xD I'll go with hoping for a Zeki, but Kaname/Yuuki will also pass I guess, since it's canon as well :P

SO much word there, yo.

Wistful thinking that the world live and let live or be openminded and respectful to each others' views and preferences.

Still, I keep the "to each their own" idea and hope others will do the same.

I generally think you have to look at character too. I usually like yaoi pairings wonderfully but for some reason I can never see Lelouch in a gay realationship (even though he had a very flamboyant cape). I have no idea way, I can only see him with girls and maybe (still iffy) Suzaku.
