Question about Mao!
Does anyone know when Mao's birthday is?
My friend and I came across three fanart on Pixiv (here, here, and here) and they're all happy birthday pictures, all posted on January 1 (he really does suit being a Capricorn), and all by different artists. I'm just wondering where they got this information that his birthday is on January the first. I was always under the impression that we never find out his birth date, so is there supplementary media that supports him being born on January 1?
Update: Okay, two of the artists replied back to me and one of them said that his birthday was published in the September 2008 Animedia. So if anyone has that issue of Animedia, I guess they can check for proof...
It's also here.
So Mao is older than Lelouch!
Update 2: The third artist got back to me and said that this info could be found from the CRITICAL ZERO book.

As for what you would write, the subject would probably be "Mao's Birthday" or マオのお誕生日
I'm a little shaky on what the body of the letter should be, but something like:
あのね、すみません、「マオお誕生日おめでとう!」という絵について、とても可愛いと思います。でも、どちらでマオのお誕生日を発見しましたか?私は見つけないんです。
よろしくお願いします!
Which is, "Pardon me, but on the subject of your picture "Happy Birthday Mao!" (replace what's in the 「」 brackets with the title, マオはぴば! and Happy Birthday MAO!), I thought it was very cute. But where did you find out Mao's birth date? I cannot find it. I humbly request your assistance!"
But um, you might also want to add this - 日本語が下手ですみません。 - which is "I apologize for my bad Japanese" so I dunno if you want to wait for a better message-writer to come along. The words and grammar should be correct but it just might sound unnatural 'cause I'm not even close to being a native speaker.

I only have the October 2008 Animedia (it had Lelouch and Schneizel on the cover so I got it knowing it would have Geass content, but Animedia is like 5+ dollars per magazine so I don't buy many). Still, I imagine the artist is probably trustworthy.
I didn't know there was a site that had all the anime character birthdays for a given date! That's cool. Also thank you for the birthday list; I only knew Lelouch's and Nunnally's. Apparently my birthday is closest to Bismarck.
