5 Themes Challenge at Suzaku fan community

Just wanted to drop in and promote the desperate attempt to prompt fanworks 5 Themes challenge over at the suzaku_knight community.

You can interpret these however you like, any pairing is acceptable (as long as Suzaku is a main focus), and feel free to participate in whichever medium you prefer: graphics, artwork, FANFICTION, anything-I'm-leaving-out...

Here they are:

1. Pieces; shards
2. Pride
3. Tears don't fall
4. Over and over
5. Looking back

my brain has been eaten by the Lelouch/Euphie fic, otherwise I'd do it I just need to suck it up and post my lemon (no pun intended) so you no longer have an excuse to do my mod-ly duty and initiate the community. Yeah, that's it.

As I said, the mod of a new community is a role model to its members. If you don't lead the parade, there won't be a parade. Too bad, eh? XDDD

That said... what lemon are you writing? And which THEME? ^^ If it's SuzaEuphie... er, I don't usually opt it but I'll give a go at reading.

I don't remember that in the job description. :P :P :P (besides, me as a role model...BAD IDEA! XD)

GENERALLY speaking, I don't start comms, websites, or mailing lists without feeling like I must contribute something (and so I do). But. I more or less started these because I wanted to pay tribute to the charas...

So I have a couple of fanfics already written; 3 others in progress, and I even had a little drabble-y thing that I wrote between Suzaku and Lelouch - arguing (written somewhere around ep 15/16 ish, so it's AU, now) over Suzaku knocking up Lelouch's sister (referencing Cornelia's charge that Euphie was gaining weight *lol*). So. I'm trying? I guess I can post my 2 SuzaEuphie fics that I completed a while back, I just had already posted them around...

My lemon that I'm rewriting is Suzaku/Euphie (theme: Tears don't fall). One of my in-progress fics is also supposed to have a Suzaku/Euphie lemon in it...eventually. And the third fic, I'm planning a sidestory-ish sort of thing that will focus on their relationship... Despite the Lelouch/Euphie aspect that is at the crux of the story for the moment. I think I'm working out my issues with direction of the series, but...anyway.

Just FYI...my lemons aren't about the sex (since you bring up that you normally don't opt to read lemons). I'm not claiming that mine are better or worse than anyone else's, I'm just saying that I'm not really good at PWP lemons. So, it's entirely possible to read one of my "lemon fics" (I THINK, and please tell me if in the end I'm not correct on that assumption), and kinda skim or skip over the sex scene, and still have a story to read.

My (first) Suzaku/Euphie lemon will probably end up 10-12,000 words after the rewrite (the original version was 7,000 when I posted it for a challenge in Feb). 8 scenes, only 1 of them has smexing.

So. I guess I'll go post my already written fics, so I can TRY to be a good mod. Since you brought it to my attention that I've been slacking. ;P

PPS - If anything I say sounded arrogant or self-centered, it's not intended. I can sound that way sometimes, I think, when I talk about my fanfiction. :( :( :(

When I said I don't opt it, what I meant was SuzaEuphie not lemon T_T. I was deliberating between AU Suzaku and SuzaEuphie (fluff not too pairing-y) to submit into the challenge, but now that I've confused you (and I feel bad about it) I've settled for SuzaEuphie now.

Ahh... but give me a few days.

Lemons that aren't about the sex! That's always preferrable ^^. I'll give a go at reading, really.

[Re: PPS] You're proud of your work and that's perfectly okay! If you said your writing sucked, and I've seen a lot of those self-claims, I'd have doubts.

Ah, ok, my bad on the assumption. I usually run into people who don't like the lemons....

Honestly, it's one of the reasons I was hesitant to be the first one to post. Because I know what the most popular pairing will be (I've been in enough Bandai mech fandoms to know), and it's completely fine with me that it will be that way. I didn't want to give anyone the impression that it would be focussed on SuzaEuphie when it's not meant to be that way. It's a Suzaku comm and I honestly want people to feel free to post for any Suzaku-centered pairing.

I will love a SuzaEuphie fic from you, but I would also love a Suzaku-centric AU fic as well. So please feel free to write what you love. That's all I want. :D

Did something I say run you off? If you'd still like to participate I'd honestly love it if you would. But, no pressure either. I did notice you've posted some fics already on this comm, and would love to have them on the Suzaku comm as well. If you don't wish to be a member, would you object muchly to me posting links to your work?
