Hmmm...got this from Animesuki and since I'm handicapped by the language barrier, I'm not sure about both reliability and content. I just know that it's purported to be what we all hope it to be, therefore don't look my way for more guarantees - I cannot offer either. As such, don't get your hopes too high...but cross your fingers.

It's a possible airing date for the final stages of Season 1, coinciding with the private theater screening for a few hundred lottery-selected fans.

Thanks to Rob the Fox for the info. Once again, I dunno how reliable this is. Only people fluent in Korean and well-acquainted with the sources inside might enlighten me as to the link's credibility and dispel any lingering doubt.

remember awhile back when there was that contest for people to go to a special screening of eps 24&25? I'm pretty sure that was in August... Why would they play the eps before the special screening? I don't think that it's real.

Nope, that was the 21st and 22nd of July in Osaka, for 500 hand-picked fans.

August is the deadline for an eventual TV airing since that's when the DVD containing 24 & 25 should be put on sale.

However, according to Celiss Galvea from GameFAQs, the monthly digital TV guide confirms that there is a Code Geass Special on the 29th of July, at 2:25am on MBS, but the folks at 2chan believe it's a recap and not the real thing, although this is the product of fan speculation.
