Snapshot of an Otaku

I though you guys might be amused to see this photo series I took of my room.

Game Time!

How Many Code Geass related items can you find in these pics ^^

Ready! Go!

Click for a bigger view

There's a Kotatsu somewhere under there xD

This was SO not set up or staged in anyway. I really have no place to put stuff in my Match book size apartment so it all gets randomly thrown and stacked on my Kotatsu (A low table with a heater under with a blanket)

A few months of this and this is what it's become XD

Some things visible in this pic starting from the left:
Newtype Mag, Animage Mag, Genshiken Vol 2 English Version, Code Geass Lulu x CC doujin, D. Gray Man Tyki x Allen Doujin, FF7:AC doujin by the circle KIKI, Bag Given out at Comic City by the circle Kashi

Turning your attention to the PS2 controller.
Under it we have the Porn  Dating Sim game "The Drug that makes you Sleep", to the left we have FF12 Collectors Addition, Phoenix Wright 1 &2 and a flier for a Code Ceass only doujin event.

Looking at HP:DH you'll see my DS on top decked out in Suikoden V and "The Edict of Tea" Stickers along with Unico, Lelouch and Tyki daglies,

next to that is my map of Japan and lastly you see my FMA messenger bag

Another angle of the pile
Top Center: I'll be posting that Lulu x CC doujin on her later ^_^

So as you can see, Under my PS2 Controller is a delicatly balanced tower of Yaoi and other manga

Ok, So HP is a "Real Book"...but it has an Otaku fandom all it's own.
In Japan, your DS, PSP and/or Cell phone MUST have 3 or more charms dangling from it. It's like the Law or something xD

The "Real Book" pointed out are all books from when I took Setsuko's Japanese Laguage and Culture Class.
We have  Anthology of Japanese Lit, Norwegian Wood by Murakami and The Face of Another by Abe

From Left to Right: FF7 Potion Limited Edition bevrage -Cloud Can, Jiji, Fox Plushie from Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Code Geass Chibi style figures Lelouch & CC, and Gloomy Bear

I bought that GW  Pefect Grade Model Kit last year...it's only about 40% finished ^_^;

um...ya

From Left to right:
My laptop, Stack of doujin from Comic City to scan the covers of to post on doujin selling site, Disembodied head of Hitsugaya Toshirou Plushie I started but haven't finished yet ^_^;

See if you can name all the anime characters on my Laptop ^^

My purse xD

Big fatty stack of all doujin now currently up for sale on my Doujin Site ^^

My front door is metal ^^ Fun with Magnets :D

Jiji is the Keeper of the Keys xD

That card thing is the key to my apartment. Kon keeps it company ^_^
Seattle Represent!

So Kids! How many Code Geass things did you spot?

Quiz Time!

Name 10 Anime represented in my room ^^

Shoot me or something, but I was more interested in trying to figure out what dating games you play. XD;;

Your shelves reminded me of mine... before I kept all my figurines in plastic bags (for spring-cleaning >_>) and now I'm too lazy to put everything back.

You play all the pr0ny ones. XD I play mostly Koei's Neoromance ones and just started on Hiiro no kakera 2 but got a game over in just three hours. >_> I don't really have R18 dating sim, except for uh, Under the Moon.

For other R18 games, my friend passed me Togainu no Chi and Lamento (I think Nitro+'s art is pretty Dx) but I didn't dare play it in case people pop in at the "wrong times" lol.

Ahaha, so off-topic.

Naughty you. XD I know people are HMMMMM over Lamento, but for some reason I like TnC more. Even if I haven't played it haha. Or maybe I'm fascinated over the "people who taste protaganist/uke's blood die" plot or something. ._.

Under the Moon is a PC game, while Koei's Neoromance games are mostly PS2. Hiiro no Kakera is more of a visual novel, but my Japanese is limited, so I wound up button-mashing through the story = game over/get killed. XD;; My dream dating sim game is where you can play as either a girl or a guy and date a person from any gender. Het/yaoi/yuri in one ftw y/y?

Ooooooor like everyone else, you could try playing Persona 3 if you have a PS2. It's RPG + dating sim = JOY. And it's about how two/triple/etc-timing your girlfriend(s) will bring you benefits. XD
