Haha, making a semi-new OP for one song is unheard of for Sunrise in general, but is rather standard for Taniguchi Goro. He's a somewhat atypical director for Sunrise.

Could be. I'm also sort of hoping it gets more episodes, since 25-26 is sorta INSANE to resolve this plot. However, that's probably just wishful thinking.
