For anyone who has the Code Geass calendar or knows what I'm talking about-

I just got my calendar in the mail today, and I can't figure out how to hang it up. o.O  There is a metal bar with a hook on the outside, but you can't flip the calendar or you can't access the bar.  Are you supposed to rip off the images for each month?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT- Thanks everyone!  I now have my calendar up and used an exacto blade to cut off the cover.  Now I have the bondage cover over my bed! ^_^

I sorta-kinda know what you're talking about. I'm not sure about a hook, but I've had similar calendars with a hole where I could put a tack/nail in. And unfortunately, yes, you'll have to rip the images off each month.

For a while, I had that problem. I found that the hook bends toward you and can be hung up. However, like sugar_dustbunny said, you're have to rip the images off. I suggest you get a electronic copy of the images before ripping them to savour them forever! ^^;;

on the metal bar, in the middle, at the back of the calendar, there's a metallic O-shaped thing pointing "down". you have to bend that O-shaped thing to point upwards to hang it on a tack/nail

Actually, rip it off real fast but neatly and you don't neet to cut.
A lot of the calendars we err.. Japan makes are like that Cx
Especially the anime kind, model kind, and singer kinds XD;

Yeah like everyone said you have to rip the images off each month, or every two months actually. But you dont have to throw them away, cause trim the dates off and you do have really nice poster.

Ditto on the ripping it off part.

Except, don't actually rip it off. You run the risk of: 1) ripping the images, 2) creating those nasty scrunched-up bits at the rip line, and 3) ripping out more than you want and ruining your calendar. Plus, even if you manage to rip it correctly, you'll still have the fuzzy rip edge. No good.

Just get an exacto knife, a ruler, and some thin (but firm) padding. A piece of cardboard will do the trick. Cut off each page, and you'll have yourself some nice-looking posters.

lol, if I had the calender, I wouldn't rip it off xD

Uhmmm mint condition calender ftw? xD

I remember I had a calender like that, and I ended up just holding up every single page with blue tack. At around August it failed since it got too heavy xD

Well anyway, do what you want to do with it ^^;;

I too got a calendar for 2008 recently from Japan, and well, I couldn't have the heart to rip the cover off to show Jan/Feb dates, so I used some string, rolled the cover up, but didn't block the hook, and tied it up. It's not perfect...but it allows you to keep it intact, at least. :'D

I still can't bare to rip the cover off yet.

keep them and use as posters!~~

Well I removed mine ^^; It took me awhile to convince myself to actually do it...

I used a sharp craft knife with a new edge and just held up the cover to be sure while I removed it that the knife didn't cut any of the other pages. I kept the blade steady and as close to the metal bar to be sure I cut in a straight line. It came straight off and I now use the cover as a poster on my wall.

Pity it had to be done in the first place ;_;
