Maybe they didn't kiss and Lelouch just wanted Kallen to see his geass up close. Or maybe he's just geass'ing someone in a different scene tho the preview makes it look otherwise.

Why is everybody saying Lelouch x Kallen?

AS IF IT'S LELOUCH x ROLLO NEXT EP!

But the Geass short distance Kallen thing doesn't really make sense since he knows it wouldn't work on her.

Maybe he's trying to scare her, or manipulate her >_>

I think Lulu's geassing Rolo, because they stand so close in the preview...

But why is Lulu kissing Karen? It's so hard to believe he has feeling for her...

All of this is pretty peculiar. Just because I can't imagine Lelouch kissing Kallen, I came up with this thing:

Kallen is actually Rolo (in that scene only, I mean).
It seems like that locket of his "scanned" Kallen, it has a mysterious function, which can make Rolo change his appearance.
Lelouch sees from Kallen's talk that she isn't herself. He comes close to her, and it seems he intends to kiss her to check, if it's her or someone else. Rolo is pretty much shocked, and so he turns back to himself. That's how this really close scene with Lulu and Rolo appears.

OR

The locket has an incredible function. With its help Rolo can appear in Kallen's place and Kallen in Rolo's. It seems like Rolo speculated a bit and came to a conclusion that Kallen was near Lelouch.
Lelouch really does intend to kiss Kallen, yet then he realizes that Rollo appears. And again this scene appears.

I have no idea, really.
