There, there. It only occured to me because it's happened to me before with new journals. Oh LJ, thanks for assuming we're all html illiterate and setting it as the default option.

You could try ebaying the books or selling them on amazon's market place. That's what I did with all my textbooks that couldn't be sold back to the school.

Well, if it was RL (which it's not lol, I could be throwing off my comment) there are a lot of people who look really old or really young, like celebrities for instance :D

I had thought Suzaku was born the year after Lelouch (example 1999 for Lelouch and 2000 for Suzaku) as in here in the US children born anywhere from September through December tend to be held back a year. This is particularly common with boys since it is supposed to help them mature. ^_^;;;

So I would think Wiki would be right and at some point in time they would both be 17 in the series at the same time and at other points Lelouch would be older since he would be 7 months older. I sort of doubt any of Geass is taking place during the Fall since I've seen no sign of the leaves turning colors. ^_^;

On thing to remember with the ages given is sometimes they can change, it's the age when something starts. So at the start of R1 Lelouch was 17 and Suzaku was 17 (for example)

Sadly, Geass doesn't seem to like to give hints of seasons. It's no X with its switch from winter to summer to winter again with uniforms. For all we know R1 takes places in the span of a single month. ^_^; For R2 we just know it is about a year later.

I do know that here in the USA those children born between September and December are often held back a year so that the oldest in a grade is born in September/October and the youngest is born July/August. I'm not sure how much research Sunrise did but I would not be surprised if that is what is going on with the estimates and years given in wiki for some of the ages.

Sadly, there can be mistakes within various anime magazines and its possible whoever was posting info on Wikipedia posted wrong information they read. I know that one anime magazine wrote the new character's names as "Lolo" and "Zino" and my official merchandise from Animate has "Rolo" and "Gino" ^^ I mean in the end that is just pronunciation on kana but still it is technically a mistake.

good idea *__*

there's also considering if sunrise just didn't bother with the "normal" school period and kept with the japanese school timings (school years start/end in march)~ in my school we get everyone from january to december :P

Nunnally is known as the 87th heir, but nothing is known about what number princess she was...

That explains the purple font... I can't read it directly off my friend's page.

That's also true. When I went to school in the USA they use to put kids born in December with the kids born through the rest of the year but that stopped 10 or so years ago here and now it's not true. And we don't know if they're going by the Japanese calendar either. For one thing we don't seem to get any seasons in Geass despite Japan having rather obvious ones lol

We just don't know, I think in the end it's just not that important necessarily for the plot and something we as fans can sort of decide on. ^_^;; I personally see Suzaku on the younger side and Lelouch on the older side but that's just me lol
