So uh, there are a number of new Geass books out this week (and more next week OTL) and I bring scans. :>

Ever wondered why we never got to see Charles' pretty hair ever since Marianne's death?


Because Marianne is no longer around to attend to his hair for him :( This will be such a pain to colour

The above sketch is from the Roman album, so here's the cover of the book. This book contains previous artwork from Animage, so you'll be disappointed if you're looking for purdy new art.

Uh, there's a textless version but it's a pinup and I hate scanning pinups/spreads since piecing together is no fun. Maybe someone out there will be more hardworking...?

Guess who picked this up just because of Rolo ahahahahaha~ Oh, it comes with three clear bookmarks (one each of the characters on the cover).

Squee! Suzaku! But seriously, too be able to see his collarbones? He is either a) extremely thing (which can probably be confirmed by that picture of him in the cheerleaders outfit from Lost Colours O.o) or b) that uniform of his is INSANELY tight.

LOL Charles's hair is in better condition then mine OTL OTL he should be in the Herbal Essences commercials ("oh yes~ YESS!!" ...or... maybe not @__@ LOL)
awww the first picture is so sweet. :] I haven't even thought of the idea of Marianne and Charles as the traditional father/mother figure before this picture and now I'm hooked onto that image. :D Lulu and open-eyes!Nunally are so cute in the back aww.

Hmmm.. but does the Roman artbook at least have a few more new and pretty sketches like the first one? If so then I might consider hunting down scans getting it xD

No, there aren't repeats from Illustration Rebels. Rebels contains mostly artwork from Newtype, the Perfect fanbook has Animedia artwork and this one has Animage illustrations. (Lelouch pouring a bottle of water onto himself and whatnot.)

Half of it contains art from mostly Animage, the other half has loads of character design sketches. :D

Nope, that was the only one in the book. There are three more from magazines, but they're pretty small.

Yeah. At least they were SGD13 each so it's still okay. (Anything above $40 for me is expensive XD) With Lelouch contains Ashford Academy and Black Knights stuff, VS Zero has Britannia and... Chinese Federation?

There's a "confidentiality" section which is kinda interesting though.

I don't think I have seen PASH illustrations anywhere, now that you mentioned it. O_o It's as thick as Illustrations Rebels and cost almost the same. Perfect Fanbook is really thin, and the price is half of Illustration Rebels. (At least, those are the prices at my local Kinokuniya branch.)

Wow, that sounds good if there's no repeats! I'll buy this. I really want Perfect just for the cover!! Maybe another artbook will come out with the Pash, aka fujoshi fanservice artwork.

Eep, really? Arghh I hate it when they do this! How much would you guess is non-rebels artwork? I don't mind a few repeats as long as there's tons more additional stuff.

Okay, I counted 4 repeat artwork. But there are only around 10 or so pages of artwork, then loads of colour pages and commentary on episodes, and the other half are sketches. I wouldn't recommend getting this book. ._.
