I also have a question: does anybody know if the first season of code geass (eps. 1-25) is coming out in a box set? Just wondering.

Hi my Region 4 I got the Box with Volume 1 then had to fill it up once the others came out one by one. Guess it depends on your region.

I don't think companies are releasing FULL box sets anymore. They're releasing series now in parts. I think Code Geass is split into two box sets then, the first half and second half. (It could be three box sets, splitting the series into thirds)

Why companies have started doing this, I have no idea.

*grumbles* Yeah i saw the part 1, 2 and 3 boxsets before, priced at about 60 bucks apiece. That's too bad, cause usually boxsets containing the full season are much cheaper than buying all the volumes separately.

As to why the companies are doing this....they like making money?

$60? Where are you looking? If you don't get the "Limited Edition", they're $30.

You're welcome! I think the only difference is you don't get as many extras (like the audio dramas). But the picture dramas are on there.

Companies always start out with disc-by-disc and now part-by-part, but usually after a few years you'll still get a boxset. I don't get the sense that Bandai will never release a boxset, you just have to wait a looooot longer.

I have a similar question, will it ever be released Region 2 for Europe, I've only seen it in Region 1 =/
