It's just a misleading arrangement. In the event, Zero was projected onto the curtains (you can see them in the caps) to introduce the announcement of more Geass; on the DVD release, instead of the prodcer letter, it switches to the teaser video.
It is just the Geass "movement" before it is cast upon whoever gets the command. It is just the screencap it is that way, that has caught the Geass "flying" to get into the other eye, lol

I do love the way people are trying to make it purposely confusing. (As far as I can tell, what people have said is correct: Bottom row is from the Birthday event, it's only the top two in the actual teaser).
Well, since the gaiden is supposedly set in 2017, I think we can probably expect Lelouch/Suzaku/CC cameos around anyway... I'm curious as to how they intend to get people interested in it otherwise.
While I wouldn't be surprised if there were cameos, I actually think they are going to other way - Sunrise is trying to see how well Code Geass stuff works with a new cast.
I am so confused!!! But it doesn't matter to me what it's gonna be. I am still very devoted to Code Geass. I'm pleased to see that they're keeping most of the vital people (I think) that worked on the original CG. So I'm expecting something utterly good. But perhaps hopes shouldn't go to high... TT*TT
