Favorite Geass moment thus far?

I lost my link to my other spoiler about 22 and am a very sad kitten. Therefore to alleviate the shockery of the mega spoiler that's going around, I propose we each list our favorite Geass scenes. Limit one per reply. Explaining your love for the scene is by no means required but gush if you wish.

The fact that They Went There always made me wonder what happened in between CC calling Lelouch a virgin brat, Lelouch pinning CC down, and Lelouch angsting naked in the shower. Would they go there, too?

There are a ton of moments I've loved, but I think the one I found both the most twisted and the most powerful emotionally was when Lelouch Geassed Shirley. It managed to take a scene that could have been tender and make it tragic and rather twisted, and it was just such a perfect way of concluding that mini-arc, at once giving Lelouch some growth and showing how deeply flawed his way of thinking still was.

Agreed. That was a really great one too. Very sad scene...also not very well thought out. Lulu's gonna regret that one for sure...

My fav scene would be Suzaku and Euphie, in Eps 20, where Euphie asked Suzaku to try to like her and Euphie in turn will like him back~ Thats the sweetest moment~ <3

Like the others said, the shriek in episode 6. In fact, I loved almsot all of episode 6. Crack and Lulu/Suzaku = very yes. Anything mocking Lulu's physical strength gets me into a gigglefit.

Let's see. The cat!Lulu scene in 9 killed me, especially since they had to tie him to a friggin' chair to get him to cooperate.

And moving onto a more serious scene, the part when Shirley said "Why...why did my father have to die?" The expression on Lulu's face when it all hit him...wow. I felt depressed after watching that episode.

Just one. Just one? OH GOD I HAVE TOO FREAKING MANY.

Um. Um. If we must have just one oh dear which ranks first place. If we must, if we absolutely must, then I agree with annwyd and thus pick the Geassing of Shirley. Poignant, messed up, so very revealing and so very IC. And bringing it irreversible changes. It's not a defining scene for the series, no (for that choice I would pick the last scene of 21, as of this moment : CG is sooo a show about people making really retarded mistakes) but it is certainly among the most powerful.

My favourite was when Lelouch geassed himself to fool Mao, and the moment right before that. I loved how he was humbled by his inability to do anything. He looked so pitiful and broken right then, my heart was just breaking. I like to see my favourite characters win or lose, but to see both in the span of five minutes is really fun. =D

I will have to go for Lelouch revealing himself as Zero to Euphemia in 19 because it's one of the few things in Geass that I really didn't see coming. Plus his expression is one of the cutest things ever, and wet-haired Euphie sooo pretty.
