Lelouch of the Rebellion 8 - English Release?
The local bookstores in my area that carry manga have listed Lelouch of the Rebellion Volume 8 with a release on August 10th; this is also listed on Amazon's page for the book, but I have not been able to find the book in any store and Amazon now says that the book is out but needs 'two to four weeks' just to ship.
Has anyone managed to find this volume in a store in their area yet? I apologize if I sound demanding (I don't mean to be) but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I really would like to finally have the complete set of them.

(Although I am a little baffled by how it can wrap up the story in one more volume when they only just ended the Second Battle of Tokyo... how much was actually abridged?!)

The Bandai official site is basically untrustworthy. It's not updated often enough to be accurate. It says that some manga that aren't released are "available now" and other manga which are released (such as knight 1, which is on my shelf right now) still have the "coming soon" label.
Unfortunately I'm pretty sure all you can do is be patient and wait for the manga translating department - or whoever is responsible for the delay - to get back on track.

...Not that I bought it or anything, but it's out there.
I did skim through, though.no subject
Well, at least now I know it's possible that some retailers have it (Otakufuel says that they do, as do a few other smaller sites)...although it's really weird that Amazon doesn't, because they're usually pretty up-to-date. It's more understandable that Borders/Barnes&Noble are slow.

Double thanks for the heads up.

I'm fairly certain Vol 7 came out close to its date, but 5 and 6 slipped by at least 2-3 months.
It's frustrating when they have a release date they have no hope of keeping.
