[News] KMF Variations?

There's some new work announcement in this month's Newtype Ace magazine and maybe another announcement in next month's magazine.

Photobucket

Sounds like a new manga, but there seems to be Akito teasers.

More info at [houani's blog]. Any help with translating the info would be appreciated.

ANN has translated some info. It is just teasers for now.

I’m agreeing with the other commenter.

What it says:
“Quick Announcement: Code Geass‘ new project starts!
KMF Variation
The chance to customize the popular aircrafts has arrived!
We have decided to serialize ‘Komikaraizu’* in this magazine!!”

The screenshot on the right:
“In this broken world, we have a dream…”
And it says “Reira” (Leila) in the box over the girl’s head. Everything else is too small for me to read. Same with the other more text heavy screenshot.

The comments on that blog you linked to are mostly confused as to what this exactly is and if Akito and this here are two different things. Most complain about the lack of information.

*Not sure what this is supposed to mean. Comic colorize?

In my experience, 'Komikaraizu' always means something akin to "a manga version of" whatever existing franchise. In this case, I think it means a manga version as a part of the the KMF Variations project, which seems to be bringing customizable figures out?

ANN is also reporting now that there will be a manga version of Akito as well, so I think there's two manga here, one for the KMF Variations project and one for Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito.

...Well at least it sounds like the new one won't be set in feudal Japan again.

Ah, thank you! I didn't know that. I did a quick google search, which didn't help me at all, but now I know.
