One season

So we all know that Geass was intended to be one season but because of its popularity, got stretched to two. Now here is the question:

How do you think Code Geass would have ended if it were only one season?

Me.... I have NO IDEA. Haha. I'm interested in what ideas others might have though. .^^ Personally, I didn't really see the series ending (well) in 26 episodes however many episodes it was intedned to be. With all that was going on, I think it would have been too short to have a nice conclusion with only one season, so I'm really glad a second season has been announced.

Likely seize the throne while finding his true love in some corny way.
Or finding his true love and then doing a very melodramtic reenactment of the end of the Hunchback of Notre Dame[book].

I really don't know,I'm just happy for another season of Code Geass goodness!
