code_geass | One season

~~So we all know that Geass was intended to be one season but because of its popularity, got stretched to two.~~ Now here is the question:

How do you think Code Geass would have ended if it were only one season?

Me.... I have NO IDEA. Haha. I'm interested in what ideas others might have though. .^^ Personally, I didn't really see the series ending (well) in ~~26 episodes~~ however many episodes it was intedned to be. With all that was going on, I think it would have been too short to have a nice conclusion with only one season, so I'm really glad a second season has been announced.
