Weird speculation time!

At Episode 8's last sponsor thank-you, after the ED---there's a line that's never been here before. The background is appropriately Zero, and the line goes...

"Next Episode is/contains a present from Zero"

What does that refer to? Thoughts?

It could be anything. I am hoping if they have to do a recap at this point they can at least do it in an unusual way. Put some new scenes in that throw a new perspective on what's happened or use it as some kind of specific set up for episode 9...maybe even present those first 8 episodes as some kind of prelude which means the real action starts with the formation of Lelouche's own faction as prsented at the close of this episode.

Or maybe they're just going to elaborate on that infamous character sketch and have him in his pants for the whole episode. XD

Yeah. I'm sort of thinking 8.5 would be a prelude. Or hoping. If 9.0 changes the way everything works, then it'll be a great spot to recap on.

I'm actually voting on a Lulu bathing/Zero Transformation (in other words, changing) scene. Hey, Kallen got one, didn't she? Where's the pride of the hero nowadays? XD

I think the present that they're talking about is probably some sort of giveaway. The viewers will have to send in postcards and a certain number of people will be chosen as the lucky winners. The present could be anything from a copy of the OP single, action figures, calendars, etc. At least this is my guess...^o^

In that case, Zero sucks for not thinking of the international rebellion. Successful rebellions against global empires require global movement! We demand compensation!
