Gallery update

Hey everyone! a non-sales post! The official Code Geass site has [finally] updated their gallery. Lots of potential icon pics, methinks. .^^

And a friend of mind heard that the second season might be starting in like January. Or did she say December? But in any case, winter season. Just a rumor, but yeah. I don't think it'd be smart to make us wait almost half a year again. .^^;

I am assuming next summer for Code Geass at the earliest; Sunrise have Gundam OO to concentrate on and that's going to run into the new year at least. Unless they spring it out of nowehere, I don't expect it'll be as early as January. As for them being smart, they can make us wait as long as they like; I mean....we'll watch it avidly whenever they show it! XDDDD We are at their mercy, lol!

Well there would seem to be two major seasons; those that begin in April and October. Shows that start in January or July *tend* to only be 12/13 eps long. Not all by any means, but mostly. Because Gundam OO looks set to run into the new year and up to the April season, I reckon that's when they might start Geass 2. But they may hold it back even longer or spring it out of nowhere! Who knows what devious plots they have. :)

I don't think fans will get tired of waiting. *shrug* I mean, will you genuinely not watch the second season of Code Geass because it gets shown a few months later than you'd ideally like? And Sunrise have their blanket coverage in all the magazines to keep the show's profile in people's minds. Those magazines still run Gundam Seed stuff now, and that's done and dusted. They also have their picture/CD drama type releases and the mangas with the various au storylines etc. I think the liklihood that they would allow the profile of a show like Geass to fall is fairly low.

There will inevitably be less momentum in fandom while there is no new activity to fire creativity or debate. I don't think this is because the majority of people are disgruntled though. I mean...the show has to be made, there's no getting around that, and again we come back to the fact that though Code Geass was a huge hit, Gundam is a massive franchise decades old with some old devoted fans, and Gundam must be their current focus. As much as I respect the art and the stories Sunrise make, they're a business too.

I always think though...don't get disgruntled; sample something else! ^-^ And watch Sunrise's bandwagon roll! They are sure to do plenty of things to keep things going until season 2. This is a massive hit for them and I highly doubt they'll let interest in it wane while season 2 is in production.

I have to agree with what you're saying. Gundam 00 has already been announced to pull a Geass -- running 25 episodes and then stopping for a break. I'm under the impression that Geass will gain Gundam's timeslot during that break, and once Geass ends, Gundam will resume.

Not shabby work on Sunrise's part, really.

Same here, I think the earilest season for Code Geass is spring (April) since gundam 00 ends with 25 episodes first.
At first I don't like Sunrise doing it by separating them into 2 parts, both show. Why they can't done 1 series first then continue with another one. But well, now it's ady decided. Though I wish I can watch Code Geass season two as soon as possible but hey, finish Gundam 00 season 1 first is the best way. I just don't want I finish 2 shows at the same time & nothing to watch then. By doing this, I can have my shows throughout 3 years.
Sly Sunrise. >.*
