I noticed all the speculation about whether Lelouch was alive in the second season and Marianne's maiden name.

First off, there is no actual official evidence that Lamperouge is Marianne's maiden name. Someone speculated about it and thus posted it on Wikipedia entry like Stephen Colbert's entry on African Forest Elephants. You shouldn't regard this as fact.

I thought that his Geass was the same of the one of Mao because of the last events (for example Euphie), but if it evolves, it's rather better! <3
