So instead of getting my work done like a good student, I'm derping around the net trying to update my CG scans/image collection again. Since no one seems to have posted this yet, here's a new piece of official artwork from... somewhere (someone enlighten me please, and I'll update the info/tags on this post) ETA: there seems to be some confusion over the source magazine - it should be either Newtype or Animedia. I'll update the post again once I can confirm which is the right one.

One of this month's anime magazines - I think it's NewType no, it's Animedia - has some new Code Geass official art for us, featuring Lelouch, Suzaku and C.C..
And it is, well, see for yourself...
( Camera photos means that the writing is kinda blurry, but you can see the picture okay. Including Suzaku's muscles. )
So there's that.
From the looks of things, the main reason the picture is there is for some kind of The Best/Most Popular competition, though there is also some actual information down in the corner. I can pull up a higher definition copy of that part if anyone cares the translate, though the impression I am getting from 2ch is that it is mostly just informing us that there will be more information about the Akito Gaiden... later this year.
Sunrise does like drawing this out.

Rumours floating around certain forums are that Super Robot Wars Z II: Hakai-Hen is the first part of a two-game series, and as such will be including only the first parts of certain new series, like Gurren Lagann, or the first series of others - including Code Geass. This game is due out April 14th; no news on when the second game, assumedly including R2 will be coming up.
The ANN report links a Japanese post with scans, including some Lancelot pictures.
ETA: And the first trailer will apparently be online January 12th, if you're looking out for that.

Aurelia has uploaded the Geass Extraction article from this month's Newtype. I think the article is just about the mech designer, Katoki Hajime's work with Goro Taniguchi. It features the Lancelot Albion Composite Ver. Ka from R2. Let us know if there's anything about the new project in the article. Thx.

So, it's around about the stage in the month that the anime magazine comes out. There doesn't seem to be any actual Code Geass news, per se, though there are a few (low quality camera images) relevant pieces I've seen.
First is some new official art featuring C.C. and Kallen in bikinis and Lelouch in the most ridiculous shirt ever

Just saw this on 4chan and Sankaku Complex (site NSFW); there's a magazine scan with more info about the new Code Geass project, and it looks like it will be a full tv series.

Sadly the scan is so poor that I can't actually read much info, but there's something about a "new birth." Probably not a continuation, but a remake of the original series?
Edit: ANN has part of the scan with info about a possible musical.
