Character Profiles

Hello everyone! I am brand spankin' new to this fandom, and I've watched up through episode 20 and read obligatory spoilers and such. I'm looking to get into fanfiction and possibly roleplay, but I have a policy where I don't even attempt either until I have a good grasp of character.

Can anyone suggest web sites that have good quality character profiles, with important as well as useless information (like height, weight, favorite food kinda deal) or is that information not widely available in this fandom?

And if anyone could point me towards any fanfiction with proper characterization so I could learn from that, too, I'd really appreciate it.

And I just wanted to say: I love this show! It's completely overridden my other fandoms. >3

This may not be quite what you're looking for, but I find sapphira_angel's Suzaku/Lelouch ship manifesto (http://community.livejournal.com/ship_manifesto/183946.html#cutid1) to have awesome characterization of Suzaku and Lelouch, although I don't actually believe in the ship. I find her description of those two characters spot-on.

I don't know about characters profiles (although there is a wiki page about "code geass characters") but one fic I find to be an interesting character study of Marianne and Lelouch is realms_of_life's Flash in the Pan (http://realms-of-fic.livejournal.com/5124.html).
