fjeslkfeslej I DON'T THINK WRISTS BEND THAT FAR.

This whole cap makes me... cry tears of blood. WTF ANIMATORS.

[identity profile] lizard-little.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 07:56 am (UTC)(link)
THAT'S GOTTA HURT!

[identity profile] kamuro-ishigami.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 08:02 am (UTC)(link)
MECHANICAL ARM!! Her original must have been damaged beyond repair buried under a ton of scrap metal and invented a mechanical one..one capable of rotating around the wrist..

[identity profile] katou-san.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 08:08 am (UTC)(link)
it's called an animation error. Those kinds of things happen. Has nothing to do with being lazy. It's a mistake. Then agian, people here tend to jump on the staff the moment something happens, so...I guess it's expected

[identity profile] chickee1.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
lawl, you realise sometimes they put things like that in on purpose to see who notices, Like the cars in the background in The Lord of the Rings...

How'd you spot that though? Just random capping?

[identity profile] sandamazwich.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
The cars in LotR were unintentional I thought cuz they filmed the entrance to Moria scene at a car part?

[identity profile] bubonicwoodchuk.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the car was in the cornfield scene near the beginning of Fellowship, actually. xD But yeah, unintentional. They edited it out of the DVD.

Like the cars in the background in The Lord of the Rings...

Urban Legend much?

There's no car in Lord of the Rings nor was there, it's just a bit of scenery (much like the Munchkin Suicide in the Wizard of Oz.

This hand on the other...er...hand.

[identity profile] atemu-mana.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 09:34 am (UTC)(link)
Lul.

It's the right hand that was put on the left arm, XDD.

[identity profile] wishmasterfuuma.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 10:03 am (UTC)(link)
That's amazing.

Makes me wonder if it was a mistake or purposeful now, though. Hmm.

[identity profile] jczala.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 10:08 am (UTC)(link)
Wow! She's flexible. Hehe... I'm sure it's just an error. The animators are just human anyway.

[identity profile] kouji-alone.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
haha lol:

[identity profile] crazyevilwombat.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 10:53 am (UTC)(link)
I just tried to twist my wrist round that far lawl;;

[identity profile] dark-alone.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 10:54 am (UTC)(link)
*blinks*

I can do that with my hand/arm too. It's not a big deal...
but i'll pretend it is... XD

[identity profile] dark-alone.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 11:02 am (UTC)(link)
oh wait... i just noticed her thumb, damn it's too early to post here.

[identity profile] drug-holic.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
dark >w<)
you're so cute xDDDD *hug*

[identity profile] ladyassassin27.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
You know I can do that too ... weird. Yay we Indians are flexiable! XD

[identity profile] perosha.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
The problem isn't the bending, it's the fact that her right hand is on her left arm. (check the thumb)

[identity profile] sevoth.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 11:54 am (UTC)(link)
You guys can't bend your wrists that far? Her hand's just at a 90 degree angle with her arm, right?

Isn't the problem with her left hand being her right hand?

[identity profile] madhatterpan.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Didn'tcha know? Scientists have SUPERPOWERS.

[identity profile] cr-balmung.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
That is one huge pinky finger and small thumb. I'm just viewing her using her last two fingers instead of the index finger and thumb. Lawl!

[identity profile] mashuro.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
lolwut

[identity profile] spleener.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Man, there are so many scenes so far where I'm like 'whoa, they're spending a lot more money on this season', but then I see caps like this that make me go 'oh lawd is dat sum QUALITY?'

[identity profile] yukiya-ayase.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
this is going to give me nightmare x_X
scary.......=_=

[identity profile] powercorrupts.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I assume that sort of thing happens from time to time. I've drawn backwards on occassion when I was tired, and not noticed it until someone else pointed it out. It was likely too long afterwards by the time someone noticed this, if they did. Mistakes happen.

[identity profile] gab-rey.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL I never noticed that, but it was probably a mistake on the animators part.

[identity profile] dark-kurayami.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Honest animator's mistake. You'd think after having to do 25frames/1sec you wouldn't make those kind of errors. Add several layers, say one for BG, one for each character, and extra effects, it's quite a lot actually.

It gets annoying mostly when people hunt down the errors and then complain to the animators. Cut them some slack.

[identity profile] sevthebat.livejournal.com 2008-04-21 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
x3; I love looking for things like this.
My favourite I've seen was in an episode of Naruto where Naruto's head is inexplicably missing for a couple of frames.
