ROFL. I love you Lelouch. Slow as always. Okay anyways, that was rather shady of Suzaku to use Nunally against Lelouch. I'm starting to dislike him after I just started liking him, o_O. Suzaku plans on getting Knight of One? I want him to die trying, lol. But anyways, I think Nunally will end up dead one day and Lelouch will pull a Suzaku. Just my opinion.

I loved Suzaku having Nunally. Lelouch is getting a taste of his own medicine, especially after what he did to Viletta and what he's doing to Rollo. If Suzaku and Lelouch don't wind up killing each other at the end (like Hamlet and Laertes), I will be shocked.

And people say Suzaku is unpopular. Now, I am in a little bit of turmoil here. Everything Lelouch did to Suzaku or to other people wasn't really his fault. Euphie? He didn't mean for it to happen, he was joking. Rollo? He'd been doing some pretty bad things anyway, and I'd be mad if someone was in on a plot to kidnap my only living relative, and of course I'd scapegoat whoever it was playing the role. Viletta? She's part of it too. I mean, he hasn't really used people in a big way if they haven't hurt him. Shirley in a minor way that was sort of assholish, but still.

At the same time Suzaku is entitled because of Euphie. Considering he probably doesn't know the truth behind it being an accident, his actions are forgivable. He loved euphie. But didn't he love Lelouch and Nunally as friends first? Why are they expendable, or tools he can use now without feeling remorse?

I don't hate either of them, they've both got reasonings that I can support. But Suzaku is lower on my belt because he's using people he's always loved. Lelouch? His minor usage of Shirley was after what he did to try and protect her from the pain of everything, he made her forget. She deserves an apology note, but not enough to say that Lulu is a bad dude. Damn V.V I blame you and the Emperor! xD

I think people get confused about Suzaku because they start from the assumption that he is, at this moment, cool-headed and perfectly rational. I do think that he's rational, in that everything he does he does for a purpose. The problem is, everything he does is also highly emotionally tinted. I believe that latent anger and resentment for Euphie's fate may drive him to do things that a perfectly "normal" Suzaku wouldn't do.

The caveat is, of course, what is Suzaku truly like? Have we seen him? He's spent 7 years going crazy and the past year being devious. Should we say his true self is how he was prior to the invasion and patricide? But he's done a lot of maturing since then. We don't get to hear his thoughts, so all we are privy to are his actions. But, taking him as the sum of his actions is also doing a huge disservice to his character, as his motivations say far more about him. And if we try to examine his motivations, all we can tell is that he's a fiercely emotional person, whose heart is in the right place but who is prone to stray from the objectively "right path".

TL;DR: I think that his latent anger at Lelouch and incredibly strong attachment to Euphie (and their mutual goals) are overriding what would have held him back otherwise. It's emotional, and it's kinda a shitty thing to do, but it makes sense.

I never really liked Suzaku but not to the point of hating him, after all he's one hell of an oponent for Lelouch. It's just that lately he had been playing by the rules, and now he's just getting to Lelouch's level, by using Nunally against him for starters. It'll be interesting to see Lelouch's reaction to all of this.

Ha ha ha ha. Yay! I'm not the only one that sees Suzaku for the lil' bitch he is! :D Sorry, I REALLY hate him. I think he's far too naiive for his own good. There's no way in hell the Britannians would hand over Area 11 to him.

I kind of feel sorry for Nunally because she has no idea what's going on. Oh it's going to be so sad when Lelouch has to lie and say he doesn't know her. She'll be so alone! D: Damn Suzaku to hell, the same for the Emperor.

I slightly feel sorry for Viletta too. I mean, it wasn't exactly her fault that she liked Ougi. She lost her memories and he was the only one that took her in and was nice to her. I wanna see how this plays out and how Ougi will react when he sees her again.

Ending was a little weak, but the episode was great overall. I enjoyed all the fanservice, especially the C.C. pantyshot and Gino/Suzaku. I liked Gino and Anya finally getting some real screen time. STILL NO V.V., but C.C. at least mentioned him. From all the emphasis on that scene, it makes me think he's going to be a very important character later on. Yay.

Really excited about the preview. Lloyd, you're alive! ;_;

I hated Suzaku when he was a goody-two-shoes, and I hate him more now because it feels like he still thinks he does things the "right" way. I mean, Lulu is manipulating Rollo (ok, he is manipulating everyone...) cruelly, but Rollo is (or at least was) a heartless murderer (it feels like Lulu will soften him, dear god I hope lulu doesn't betray him, but of course he will), while Suzaku is using Nunally. Nunally! is there anyone more pure and kind than Nunally?! (I suppose Euphie was...) anyways. I ranted.

Seems a little early to tell what exactly Nunnally's role in all this is. She's not exactly stupid, and we have no idea what she's been up to over that year.

That said, Suzaku is considered stupid and naive if he tries to fight Lelouch straightforwardly... and apparently evil and manipulative if he uses Lelouch's own methods against him? How does that work, really?

Part of why Lelouch makes an interesting protagonist is because he realizes that he has to do nasty things to achieve his goal and does not make excuses for his behavior (unlike a lot of his fans). The self-righteous little rant in the preview seemed a little over the top... or possibly just evidence of exactly how dependent he is on Nunnally.

His plan is totally idiotic and not well thought of. Japan will only have a "nice life" under Suzaku as long as he's alive. After that it will be an ordinary Britannian colony again who would still "need" Zero. Tsk. But Suzaku never thinks ahead. Even less than Lulu.

the silliness of the show is part of why i love it so much....
I just love Lulu's expression when he heard his sister's voice... Suzaku pulling a Lelouch... love it! Who cares if he used Nunally it's not that he is such a pure hearte or something.... still i don't like him...
