episode 5 was hilarious

under a cut... might have spoilers

ROFL. I love you Lelouch. Slow as always. Okay anyways, that was rather shady of Suzaku to use Nunally against Lelouch. I'm starting to dislike him after I just started liking him, o_O. Suzaku plans on getting Knight of One? I want him to die trying, lol. But anyways, I think Nunally will end up dead one day and Lelouch will pull a Suzaku. Just my opinion.

I am absolutely convinced that if we kept the same characters and plot, but changed the series' perspective from Lelouch to Suzaku, we would see fandom opinions for these two characters completely reversed. Behold, magical protagonist powers!

Methinks the average fan forgets the importance of perspective in judging characters. They forget that almost everything we see is from Lelouch's standpoint and that both Lelouch and Suzaku are massively complex characters who are each greater than the sum of their actions. We get to see both Zero and Suzaku do shitty things, but we have the benefit of hearing Lelouch's thoughts, helping us to justify his actions. Apparently, not being able to mind-read Suzaku = fandom hate. -_-

What I'm always saying.

You've gotta remember, Suzaku doesn't know Euphie was an accident. Suzaku thinks Lelouch deliberately did that with mind-controlling abilities that he uses without conscience.

I'm sure we'd all be a little angry, too.

This also implies, another thing I always say, that if the two idiots just sat down and talked, half the problems in this series would go away.
