So, of R1 (is that what season one is being called now? O.O), what is your favorite episode? Favorite episode (so far) or R2? Why is it your favorite episode?

My favorite of season one has to be Stage 23. It's just...so angsty and good. The birth of Angry!Suzaku makes me happy. :D (Sad for Suzaku, since I only seem to like him when he's angry.)

Of R2...definitely Turn 4. Rolo is so much <3.

Of R1, Stage 22 was my favorite for plot twist. Everything was going so smoothly, and even Lelouch was going to help out with the special zone and then WHOOPS! GEASS MALFUNCTION. It's rise of the Euphinator. I never saw that one coming. It threw such a wrench in everyone's plans. Also, "Everyone who calls themselves Japanese, could you please die? :D" was absolutely priceless.

Of R2, it has to be Turn 6 simply because we see the return of Lloyd. I'm such a Lloyd fangirl. xD (Yes, I am that shallow.) Also, Lloyd's scream of despair when the Lancelot was hit by Kallen was absolutely priceless.

I agree with your choosing of Stage 22 its a favorite of mine as well. Finally a plot twist in an anime NO ONE saw coming. Truly unique.

Haha. I call it R1 aswell :3 As for 'R1' I like episode 6 and 16. 16 is just pure crack. No well, The walking on walls, Lulu`s fail punch and such~ Turn 6 was the first episode that made me LOL. Arthur was pure win there. Lulu just fails in physical stuff. Yet, i still love him <3

As for R2, I so totally love episode 5. Why? Coz my OTP is there. Gino x Anya. Yeah pretty weird, yes? But I just find them overly cute. Though I have a feeling I`m the only one shipping this pair. D': Gino x Anya FTW.

R1 was episode 6 =D By far. Arthur is pure win, and if they ever kill him off I'm quitting Sunrise FOREVER. I wish my school was like that. Taking classes off to chase a cat? Who wouldn't want to do it?

R2 was episode 5 =D Because Gino was in it! ^^ I also hated loved episodes 3 & 4 just for Rolo <3 He's too cute. All through episode 4, I was like;
"I wish you were real, Rolo, because you are in serious need of a HUG."

R1: Split between 6 and 23. 6 because Lelouch is such fail, gives a girly scream, and calls Suzaku a "stupid jock". 23 because the phone call between Lelouch and Suzaku sent chills down my spine.

R2: Turn 5. Pure crack. I love it. Also, mindgames between Lelouch and Suzaku? Yes plz.

Hm, for the season 1 ( or R1? XD ) I really loved the episode 23. Because Euphie die it's so angsty, so emotional, so... just perfect. It's my favorite episode for a lot of another reason, like Suzaku who become really really angry, or Britannians who no hesitate to kill a lot of japanese without any questions ( however, some Britannians didn't want to do that, but when Euphemia has shot Dalton, they have did what she has asked. ) or Lelouch who cry and he's obligated to kill Euphemia for stop the massacre.

For the R2, without any hesitation, episode 6. So, okay, now knightmares are totally invicibles ( I mean, Karen's knightmare and knightmares of the knight of round. ) but when Nunally said she's for Britannia, Lelouch is totally surprised and the R2, with this episode, become more interessant than before. And see a Dancing!Llyod and a Screaming!Llyod is good for me :D ( yes, I like Llyod a lot, he's funny XD ) And Rollo is so cute in this episode, with his locket RoloxLocket, my new OTP XD

R1 - episode 6. It's such a diamond in the rough happy episode for me after all those tension ;__;

R2 - episode 4, I think. Anything with uke!Rollo because OMG, he is *so* adorable while looking up to his onii-chan like that with loving eyes. 8Dv

I'm going to echo rainbow_cnxn's favorites and her reasons because yeah, R1 #6 and #23 are alternately fun and awesome. I'd also like to add #25 because of the Suzaku and Lulu crazy faces, and Suzaku telling Lelouch his existence is a mistake. Ouch.

For R2, turns 2 and 5. Turn 5 because of the crack and my little flaily moments when Suzaku and Lelouch smiled at each other in the classroom and at Suzaku's face when Lulu first hears Nunnally on the phone. *__* And turn 2 because we found out what happened on the island, and because that episode gave us Spinzaku.

R1, Stage 22 & 23. this is prolly the only favorite episodes i can't bring myself to watch again. it's just freakin hard. everything was almost perfect. then the geass had to malfunction and ruin it. !%#$%^ nonetheless, it was the twist that made code geass uber awesome for words.

R2, Turn 4 & 6. 4 because it's the episode wherein I almost jumped into calling Lelouch evil. well he is badass from the start but what he did with Rollo is >.< argh. 6 because Rollo saved Lelouch's ass. and Karen's sooooo cool. and Lelouch-Nunally turmoil. and yes, Llyod!! <3

I agree with just about everything you said here. R1's Stage 23 is good but hard for me to watch again -- yes no one expected it, good plot twist etc etc but the consequences were horrendous.

I enjoyed watching Lelouch saving the Black Knights in R2's Turn 4. Also Guilford vs Lelouch; I gained a lot of respect for Guilford. Kallen owned in Turn 6. That girl deserves a lot more attention.

R1, Stage 14. I think the reasons are fairly obvious*points to icon* xD. But Stage 22 is pretty much tied with it.

As for R2, I don't have yet a favorite episode. But if I had to chose I'd probably go with Episode 5, because it was cracktastic.

R2....I don't know, maybe Turn 6. Guren Kashoushiki is pretty bad ass. And the Impulse-like sequence when she gets the floater and new arm is amusing. Maybe Turn 4 also.

I call it R1 or Season 1 ^^ For R1, I love Stage 22. It was pure win and the plot twist was something that I really haven't expected Though that could be because I don't read predictions/spoilers for Geass back then;;

So far for R2, I love Turn 4 most. I love Guilford and Rolo there ♥ LOL I've succumbed to the Rolo-love :p And seeing Lelouch being manipulative and all that also adds to Turn 4's awesomeness. I also ♥ Xingke here~

R1 were episode 18, 23,24 and 25 XD
They were amazing :3
And I didn't believe in that time that the series would turn out to be as amazing I think R2 is episode 4, oh Rolo and "brotherly" love~♥♥♥♥♥

I hope we can see more brotherly love on episode 6 though *_*

I'm such a horrible fangirl for saying this but I loved R1, Stage 6. Mostly because Lelouch's scream of terror when Arthur stole his mask pretty much made my life. I like the more frivolous episodes; I watch them when I'm in a bad mood. It's no surprise really, that my favorite of R2 so far, is Turn 5.

ohhh i totally agree with you about most posts during the week! i'll try to think of something. my friends page gets so lonely after the brief influx of activity right after the ep airs on sunday.

in r1, love turn 15, the last of the mao arc, just for the ending with lelou and c.c. on the top of the building. i think i melted when i first watched that.

i also really like turn 22 when lelou accidently uses geass on euphie and she goes berserk because i think it's pretty much the most tragic ep of code geass so far. i never even liked euphie, but what happened...

in r2, ep 5!! mega win.

R1, Ep 5 just because of the Emperior Speech, R2 probably Ep 2 so far I guess it's showing there's really only a few reasons I watch this show.
