Only watched the first few minutes so far, but OMG Cornelia. *_* Guilford has a pretty sexy voice, too. <3

Edit: Suzaku has the best voice actor in this series, omg. <3 And Euphie sounds totally ditzy. Well, it suits her, I guess. C.C. VA is a terrible choice, though.

Ahhh... Euphie = Yuki Nagato.

I kinda wish her voice was a lot softer, but it's not bad, the japanese voice kinda made it sound like she had a lisp x_x;

Yeah, it's like...her voice is okay, and it's channeling her Japanese voice, but...it's just not quite Euphie.

Still, its okay and doesn't bother me. Now I can't wait for the lolmassacre. :D

They are growing into their voices... slowly. I'm not overly fond of Lelouch's but oh well. I do like Lloyd's~ C.C. is growing on me too. Hehe, "Gee-ass" still sounds funny XD

I can't say Euphemia's got the best voice but it isn't as bad as I was expecting.

Somehow, I get amused everytime someone says 'Orange'. I don't know if it's the tone they use or what but... Hee, I still love Jeremiah and Villetta's voices~ *nodnod*

After watching the part where she stops the fight... her voice kinda changes pitch @.@ I don't think the Japanese one changes pitch. Thought it'd kinda make sense to get deeper when it's a serous matter.

Yeah; apparently they weren't able to get the okay from Pizza Hut to keep the advertising in the show. :x

Yup~ Pizza Hut America dosen't support the Rebellion =[ The American branch hasn't granted permission for the Pizza Hut logos to be left in unfortunately.

Euphie's voice was pretty good, especially compared to the other girls in the show! Although, maybe it's just me, but when she said "oh my," especially after Arthur bit Suzaku, she sounded a lot like Giselle (from Enchanted). That amused me XD ♥

I haven't watched the entire thing yet, but I did watch the bit where Euphie first finds Arthur.

But I agree on the whole awesome Cornelia and Guilford. Particularly Guilford, mmm.
Also, hearing Euphemia call Suzaku 'Private Suzaku Kururugi' made me stupidly happy, because now he is Brigadier general, or Knight, or something way higher than private. You little bastard, I'm kind of proud.

woah i actually watched the whole thing! (before i could only bear a few minutes)

anyways, i agree with suzaku's voice actor being pretty good; the part with suzaku and euphie falling out of the window was SO CUTE. but the problem is, i've always had a bit of a disliking for euphie in the original, and the sugary voice made me dislike euphie even more in the dub. considering what eventually happens, if i'd only seen the dub, i don't think i'd be as sympathetic to euphie at all..which kinda kills the effect of that episode

Blegh. I finally took the time this morning to watch some of the dubs. Lelouch's voice hurts me... As does CC. I think I can open up to Euphie's and Suzaku's. And yeah, Cornelia's is GREAT.

Lloyd's is pretty good. I'm just sad because thats one of the reasons I LOVED Lloyd. His original voice seemed so silly. :D Ah well. They did a farily good job.

Euphie's just makes me laugh. I was giggling for some reason when she broke out into cat speech (probably didn't help the video was lagging cause my computer hates me, so all I heard was the sound). It doesn't necessarily sound stupid..... just off. I think it'll grow on me though.

Question.... why is CC called C2? o_o I didn't watch ep 4 of the dub, so I'm sure this was discussed last week, but why c2? I know thats how its basically pronounced in japanese, but man it just sounds stupid in english.

I pretty muched lol'd when CC is called C2, there's a drink called c2

and probrably the dubbed decided to go along with how it was pronounced in japanese.

Well, I'm impressed.

Both of the Britannian sisters were amazing. Cornelia especially was spot on. I also enjoyed how Ruff captured the subtleties of Euphie's personality, and the differences between her Princess voice and her normal, amiable voice were a nice touch.

Although I was fearing the worst, I'm actually kind of liking Kate Higgins as C.C. It just seems to...fit. I greatly enjoyed her teasing Lelouch. Her lines also translated over rather nicely into the English version.

I think C.C.'s voice actor is very good actually.

Of course I know nothing about japanese, but it did sound different to me, from how it was said in the dub. Just the lip movements match, so thats why they went with that.

Ah well, I didn't mean anything by it, I was just commenting because I hadn't heard how her name was said in the dub yet.

it really is stupid, and I dunno if C2 is available outside the philippines lol, but if you like flavored iced tea, then you'll be wanting to try it.

Nunnally's voice sounded er.. I ran out of words to say awkward. there's something in that voice that freaked me out.

Euphie is fine though, except for some parts that made me twitch

im just saying that it probably sounds retarded to the japanese like it sounds retarded to us in english.. we read "cc" when they are really saying/we are hearing "c2" :P was more a reflection on my part

Okay, finally got around to watching this. First, the voice actors. Nunnally sounds like a 40 year-old woman trying to sound 14. No. Fail. Trying waaay too hard. And Euphie sounds like Mimi from Digimon Adventures 01. (Once I realized this, I couldn't unhear it.) It just sounds way too pink, if that makes any sense at all. Everyone else, I think, is okay to good. JYB is still too high. Oh well.

Oh, and "GEE-OSS" made me facepalm a bit. I think the Japanese "GEE-uhs" was much better, but lol opinions.

I also noticed that the dub version has Suzaku showing up to Ashford unbandaged, while the original version has him with bandages on his face. Why did they change this???

Cool detail I missed the first two times I watched Geass: When Lelouch says "If someone wins, the war ends", he's playing chess, and Lelouch moves the white knight to capture/topple the black king. Lol, prescience. (Poor Lelouch... You've fallen on hard times.)

They called her C2 cuz they do call her C2 in the Japanese one. But due to how the japanese would say engrish 2, it comes out as tsu (ツ), so it sounds like they're saying shi-tsu (シツ)

Euphie's voice made me cringe a couple times ~_~
but I liked it more and more as the episode went.
I think Suzaku's VA is doing a really good job as him.
Lloyd's voice sounds totally different from the japanese version, but for some reason it's still very...Lloyd-ish.

The only voice that's really killing me right now is Nunnally's. Oh ick.
