Episode 8 made me all kinds of happy so I wanna kick off the discussion =) Spoilers!!!



1) I don't care about the people who don't like Kaguya, She's too damn cute!
2) The video meeting was kinda WTF for me, although Lloyd moments are always made of awesome. But seriously, how could they think zero would want to escape by himself. Nobody knows who he really is anyway, he doesn't need special treatment. I wonder what was up with Cecil's clothes...?
3) Nunnally is made of all things cute, that is all. Her happiness that Zero came makes me think she knows...
4) The Suzaku moment! He is doubting Lulu being able to kill Euphie if he's the same person who told him to live (yay! There's a tiny tiny bit of hope?). Anya thinking he's a masochist is probably the most accurate analysis of Suzaku's behavior too...
5) Deidhart is Lulu's biggest fanboy <3
6) ZOMG PWNED by the multi Zeros! Tamaki was enjoying that way too much.
7) Okay, so now everyone's off to China? Guess Lulu can't hide that he's zero now, if he disappears from school? Sayuko obviously saw him but how many other people is he gonna open up to now? Suzaku has realised that Zero knows him too well, so I guess that rang the Lulu=Zero bell.

I was wondering most about #7. What's going to happen when Lelouch disappears from school? I'm a bit more irritated now than I was before about the whole waiting two weeks for a new episode thing, but I'll survive, I guess...

Well Suzaku said that he wouldn't be back to school for awhile, so I think this is the perfect opportunity for Lelouch to leave, deceiving everyone with a blatant lie that they all most likely will believe since Suzaku won't be there to suspect him.

- Suzaku stole the show on stage! I gained a lot of respect for him in this episode.
- Is Rolo going with Lulu as well?
- #7: I agree that Lulu's identity would probably be blown now that he's gone from school, unless someone made up a ridiculous excuse that everyone naively believes.
- Lulu seems light on Villeta -- no life-threatening orders for her?

Anya's thoughts are pretty much the fandom's thoughts, and Gino shows he is a lot smarter than he looks. Schneizel!I want him to have more screen time, dammit!!

This episode was my favorite so far, mostly because we had developments on all fronts. Li is sick! T__T Poor guy seems to have tuberculosis, hope he doesn't die without doing something awesome...(I seem to be fixated with the characters that are most likely related to Clamp XD)

I agree with 3. Nunnally is so cute when she's happy! And I think she knows about Zero's identity, or at least, has a good idea about it.

Maybe Lulu will pull another role switch? I'd imagine him (and Rolo) to stay at school to keep up appearances, have C.C. play Zero, and have her relay orders.

i think they are portraying Nunnally to be too much like Euphy. Does every series need a compassionate I-am-such-a-saint female protagonist??

2 - Cecil's dress made me LOL

4 - It was "aww" when Suzaku was having his inner monologue. It was cute :3 My Suzaku rating went up after that. His stage poses was ridiculous XD

7: Well, Sayako probably wasn't geass'ed by the Emperor, so she still knows that Nunnally is Lelouch's sister. And now she knows that she's a Princess, so Lelouch is a Prince. Doesn't that throw a kink into Zero's "nobody knows who I really am" plans? I mean, even Kallen doesn't know that he's a Prince... And now Sayako knows Zero = Lelouch = Prince = Governor General's Brother... I hope she's the "loyal servant" type.

Sayako always knew that Lelouch and Nunally were royalty but because she was working for the Ashfords she knew that Britannia screwed them over and that Lelouch seriously hates Britannia. In her diaries, it says that she wanted to protect them and their secret identities even if they were royalty cause she sympathized with their past and though they were good kids. That's why she smiled when she found out that Zero = Lelouch. She had as Kirahara-like reaction. She was surprised but also understood his hate of Britannia.

I LOVED the focus on Suzaku in this episode...After all the angst the boy's had, we really needed a moment for this. And the part with the two candles was so cute.

And I'm still wondering what it achieves with Sayako knowing that Lelouch = Zero.

Oh, and another point to be brought up. Iceberg ship, WTF? General knowledge tells me that ships generally don't do well with icebergs. (lol, Titanic.)

I think Lelouch understands now that there are some people he needs to place trust in to help him. He can't do anything by just by himself anymore. Plus he's know Sayako longer and knows that she knows his and Nunally's past history. In episode 2, he asked where Sayako was and CC said she ran to the Chinese Federation. Since, she didn't know his identity she didn't help with searching for Nunally. If she knew, she would have made that her number one priority.

The video game says they'd cancel, since it had that character with a geass like Lelouch and he could even cancel Lelouch's order to Euphy and make her, er, not become the Euphinator.

In the past, I thought Lelouch was a lot like V (...same hair XD). But this episode confirmed it!

2. Yeah the video thing was kind of weird. They can't think Zero is honestly going to sell them all out just because of him abandoning them once, right? I thought it was a little odd, but I knew Zero wasn't selling anyone out cause he knows if he abandons anyone they'll hunt him down and blow him up >_>;;

As for Cecile's clothes, either she was being pimped by Lloyd or she secretly likes Zero.

4. I liked Suzaku again finally. Hes been rather irking my nerves lately. And Anya is a smart girl, that observation was spot on.

5. Diethard is hilarious. Hes so gay for Zero its not even funny.

6. The many Zeros was GREAT. I specially loved Dog!Zero XD I so want that as my icon now.

7. I'm betting thats why Villetta is there, to play it off Lulu and Rollo are off on a vacation or something. Since Rollo made Lulu promise he would protect Ashford and their way of living there, he obviously can't do anything stupid to reveal himself as Zero. I have faith in him, hes got a plan for everything so I'm sure hes worked this out as well.

Over all, fabulous episode.

1) I found her rather annoying in Season 1, but she's just cute in R2. Maybe it's because everyone else in OotBK is so serious these days (Toudou's rubbing off!) so she's very refreshing. Even Lelouch thinks so!
2) Yeah, Cecile never answers that! What is up with the clothes? And the exile thing really should tip off everyone who's not Suzaku that Zero is someone who, if he opens his mask, will get recognised right away. Otherwise he could easily discard the mask and blend in with the million Japanese. But this is Geass and it does stupid things in every episode sometimes.
4) I'm wondering if without the Live! Geass would he 'accept' to be killed by a Japanese? I'm sure that even without the Geass, Spinzaku's capable of defeating someone with only a knife as weapon, who come at him in plain sight and yelling. But here he looks like going on autopilot when judo-ing the assassin.
5) Code Geass is actually a re-enactment of the real thing, directed by Diethard XD
7) Lulu disappears from school from time to time in Season 1 yet succeed to hide his identity, plus he's got Viletta now, so maybe they can make up a mistake at least for a couple of weeks?
