Future crossovers?

Hullo hullo all! Been lurking around for a month or so and while I was
watching R2's episode 09 I noticed something... Anyone care to humor me?



At Tian Xi's pre-wedding party, Zero showed up with Kaguya, whose last name
is apparently SUMERAGI. After taking about a minute or so to process what I just
heard, I realized that this is a CLAMP anime and that usually, all(or most) their
anime/manga are usually connected in some way. So I ask you, since Kaguya's a part
of the Sumeragi clan, you think there's any chance that there might be a crossover
episode with any of their other series?

Actually, Code Geass is not a CLAMP anime, all they did was design the characters.

I think the Sumeragi thing is just a coincidence. I mean, in Gundam 00, one of the characters was named Sumeragi.

Sumeragi Subaru and Sumeragi Hokuto were twins in the manga X.

And then "Sumeragi Subaru" shows up in Tsubasa as the vampire twin of Kamui.

In other words = CLAMP loves crossovers.

Subaru and Hokuto are originally from Tokyo Babylon. Subaru continues to play an active part in X, which follows along the same timeline as TB.

In CLAMPverse, the Sumeragi is a very important family in the onmyouji world. Seeing as Kaguya's family is an important family in the Geass-verse Japan, well... wouldn't be that surprising if one day CLAMP goes out and say, "Yeah, in our minds Kaguya is from the same Sumeragi family as Subaru."

Uh, CLAMP only designed the characters, so I really doubt any relationships between Geass characters and characters from other CLAMP anime. And you know, a lot of characters from different anime share the same names (Ex: Sakuraba, Ryou, Riku, etc. etc.), but they aren't related at all. It's okay, though. *pat pats*

i don't think so, CLAMP only take a part as character design not the story. I always wonder, why mostly ppl forgot another important person behind Code Geass beside CLAMP especially Kimura Takahiro who in charge for main character animator, and other animator like Chiba Yuriko, Yukie Sako, etc, Goro Taniguchi the producer, the scriptwrite, anime isn't one person creation.

Oh, i'm bit OoT here, my answer still no^^, i don't think its revelant to those Sumeragi clan from Tokyo Babylon.

The surname "Sumeragi" is associated with the Imperial family more than it's associated with CLAMP. Since the Six Kyoto Houses are made up of the Japanese traditional elite, it only makes sense that a member of the Sumeragi family (and thus, the traditional royal house) would be a member.

as others have stated, a crossover with Clamp is not going to happen.
However, as character designers, I do not doubt they did base Kaguya somewhat to resemble their own Sumeragis (black hair, sparkling green eyes XD). As for her personality, that's up to Ichiro Okouchi, so it can't be said that she is outgoing and smart as Hokuto.

Like everyone previously said CLAMP only made the designs for Code Geass. They have no control over the plot line. I mean a lot of people say the Lelouch is like Kamui... but it's not like you see him actually being Kamui do you?

Just because people have the same name (surname or given name) doesn't mean they're all related or affiliated in any way, unless it was clearly stated. If you really want crossovers, just read/watch Tsubasa.

Whether or not the addition of "Sumeragi" and "Li" are actually by CLAMP or just coincidences, I don't care. I will still love them.

I mean, I'm pretty sure that Suzaku looking like the spawn of Syaoran and Sakura Or at least, how most of the fandom IMAGINED their son would look. *cough* and Xingke looking like Yasha-ou and Lelouch having similar hair and eyes to Kamui are coincidences.

Though, if it WAS intentional, then I say Kaguya would DEFINITELY be AU Hokuto's kid. She acts enough like her. >.>

Suzaku would be Syaoran if he didn't have the green eyes, that's just Mokona's style. As for the other spawn, well who knows, meaybe they have another one with green eyes unless he's been fooling us and has been wearing brown contact glasses all along!! or worse, they somehow make him pay with his green eyes for something, as idiotic as that sounds

My fangirl mind likes to think both Kaguya and XingKe are related like that, though XD
But I admit so far, there hasn't been any proof that they are.

Nah, I don't think there will be crossovers. CLAMP only did the character designs. But Lelouch does look like Kamui a lot. The first time I saw Lelouch, I thought it was Kamui. And Suzaku somehow reminds me of Syaoran.

Nah, I don't think there'll be any crossovers either. The only connection between Kaguya and Subaru/Hokuto is the design (black hair, sparkly green eyes).

But about CLAMP, although they are credited only for the character designs, it's been revealed that they've also suggested a few ideas on the plot too. Probably only during the earliest stages of design. I'm guessing the mystery on Marianne is CLAMP influenced.
