A few thoughts:

Cornelia and Guilford are surprisingly good in their dub roles. They've got some of the best voices in this series.

Orange-kun! :D He had one line, but it was awesome.

SUUUUZAKU!!! :D Yay! One teeny glimpse of Ore!Suzaku was all I needed to know that I definitely can't wait to hear him in the series finale!

But...the C.C.xLelouch scene was...meh. Maybe cuz I watched that scene so much hearing Junjun and Yukana voice it, that it sounded bad to me, but meh, whatever.

And I have to say, after playing Tales of the Abyss for so many hours this week trying to beat it, I couldn't watch that episode without hearing Guy and Luke all over again.

Especially every time Suzaku spoke. Why does Yuri Lowenthal have to play such angsty, suicidal guys with I-MUST-SAVE-EVERYONE complexes, anyway?

Oh! Is this the "I don't know why snow is white" + Suzaku's naked freakout episode? If it is, I'll have to get around to watching it.

LOL. If you haven't heard, he's voicing Simon in the TTGL dub, and if nothing else, Gurren Lagann is pretty low on the angst (a few episodes excepted). Also, JYB is Rossiu. Don't know how much you know about TTGL, but they're buddies-turned-enemies-turned-buddies. NOTHING like Geass, but amusing, nonetheless. XD

LOL. Wiki tells me that he was Tristan's (YGO) first voice actor. XD

Well, C.C.'s snow line was actually last episode, and Suzaku's naked party is this episode. XD

IIRC, C.C. asked Lelouch, "Do you know why snow is white?" last episode. But in this episode in the cave, Lelouch answers her with "I don't know why snow is white, but I know that it is pretty" or something to that effect.

Yes. Yes it is. Naked Suzaku freakout love. :D

You see, that's the problem with all this reusing of voice actors that seems to happen a lot in dubs. You end up just hearing one character over and over instead of several different ones.

(Though, this didn't amuse me as much as it did knowing Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia had Robin from Teen Titan's voice...and hearing Lloyd scream "DAMNIT! YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU FOR THIS!" every five seconds in that game. :D )

Fortunately for me, I don't play many video games or watch many dubs, so I have no associations! Unfortunately, this means fewer lolz for me. Alas.

I'm just glad JYB isn't Simon or Kamina.
If I see him as a main character one more time.

Dude. Abyss is one of my favourite games. After meeting Yuri and Johnny in person, I was really excited hearing they were Suzaku and Lelouch. I personally haven't had a chance to hear them do their thing for English Geass until just now, but... I really do love Yuri. XD He never let me down. Luke? Asch? Even Haseo from G.U.... His explosion at the end of that game makes me feel he will be perfectly capable at having the needed meltdowns he must have for Suzaku. Hahaha. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I know. After hearing Luke's freakouts and Angry!Asch, I knew Yuri would do great as Suzaku. :D

But really, the funny thing about that is that Luke (after he stops being a whiny bitch, of course) and Suzaku are way too similar. (Okay, Luke and boku!Suzaku are wayy too similar, that is). They could switch places, and no one could tell the difference at first glance.

Too bad there's no Live!geass in Abyss world to make Luke not be so passive-suicidal all the time...:(

Hahaha! Great way of describing Like. But, I totally agree with you. Not to mention Yuri will DEFINITELY get into the role. He falls in love with his characters I swear. XD He cosplayed last year at anime expo as one of his characters from the game he was working on at the time. He's so sweet, and like a fangirl himself. XD

And Haseo is also why I know he's do so well at breakdown. My god, the screaming, the mental trauma they put the charas through....

I think Blum has some pretty shitty reads in this episode... Maybe it's bad translations, but it just sounds hokey and stupid... -_-

Guilford and Cornelia are really great though.

Cornelia in the dub is just really well done, I love it! :D

I really like Suzaku's dubbing, too, and it's great to see it, since it's so different from his original Japanese voicing. Both fit his character really well! I might even like his English dub voice more... (But that's yet to be decided)

Andddd I love JYB, just not at Lelouch.

oAo Cornelia's VA is amazing. I got the same chills from her 'I got it...Guilford' as her Japanese counterpart. I love how her English VA fits her so, so well. I can't think of anyone else other than Mary Elizabeth McGlynn voicing English Cornelia now. And Kallen's voice is definitely growing on me. Her battle cries this episode were pretty good.

Crispin Freeman, you are an awesome Orange. Why do you have to disappear for a while now? ;___;

I actually liked the Lelouch/CC moment. Half the time I WAS expecting Fukuyama or Yukana, but I kinda liked the emotion coming from Higgin's end. It might seem like she used too much emotion for C.C. (for both the mind!fuck and cave scenes), but I thought it was appropriate and I felt really, really bad for C.C.; her crying made me wibble ;A; Oh, and JYB version of the 'I don't know why snow is white...' line made me smile just as much as the original.

I'm pretty pleased overall with the English voice actors. Cornelia is perfect. Euphie is pretty good too. Still kind of 'eh' on JYB as Lelouch, but he's not bad.
Guilford sounds hot. idk, idk.

Oh, goodness. I LOVE crazy-Suzaku scenes. Can't wait to hear Yuri do those!

I agree with you on the Cornelia voice love. She's like... Perfect.
