Really, wasn't there art of Kamui like that from Clamp!?

that really... Worries me. Especually how the series is going. Lulu=Kamui=fandeath. *sigh* I hope it's just cause Clamp's the one doing the art there, that they look that similar. My over active imagination's giving me bad ideas. let me know what you think?

It's an old series of Clamp's that is currently on hiatus (DAMN YOU CLAMP!). But there is both a movie and TV series for it. Since it's unfinished both have anime original endings....

I always thought Lelouch looked a lot like Kamui, but that picture of him SCREAMED Kamui when it first popped up in the ED>

Ah, sorry. Kamui's from another Clamp series called X/1999.
Kamui is the main guy and he had to choose which "side" to be on and fight to either defend the earth and kill all humans or defend the Humans and the earth be damned.
it's complete with a male best friend/turns enamy (for some reason I can't spell that properly... sorry) and the little sister love interset with a weak heart.

quite tragic and depressing. (the mother dies/is dead in that one too.)

I figured as much, like how Susaku resembles Li Syouran... but that picture had me thinking I was watchin X/1999 again. So now I'm seeing too many parallels with Lulu and Kamui.

CLAMP designed Code Geass' characters. The ending art seen in season 2 is drawn by CLAMP.

But CLAMP had no part in the story or anything like that. So they may look the same, but it doesn't really mean anything.

Yes, I know Geass does share some qualities that CLAMP writers used, but I stuck a 'more' in there because my head explodes more reading Tsubasa than anything else! And I did consider Cheese-kun, Green Otter thing, and Arthur to be cute amusing creatures, but they're not as cute and amusing as Mokona and Kero.

Well, Kamui's kind of not been dead for like a decade now if my memory is correct. And CLAMP has no say in the series other than the concept art (though Sunrise inherited their eye fetish). So it's safe to say he's not really going to go down the X way.

However, this is Sunrise and Lelouch is not a shounen protagonist in which everything he does is good. There's a 50/50 percent chance of him dying because of his goals and actions. If he does kick the bucket, expect that to happen at the end of the series unless he resurrects himself into a C.C.-like immortal being.

In any case, dying in an X-fashion isn't that too far a leap. But you shouldn't base it on concept art made by CLAMP because CLAMP loves to reuse their imagery and motifs.

Hmmm... I'd see Lulu "accidently" ending up killing Suzu more than him kicking it actually. kinda like another Euphi. But that probually won't happen till the end. *nods*

I wasn't sure how much Clamp was into it. I know they do the art, but I was prety sure "Caracter Designs" had included actuall personality quirks and what makes up the character other then just the phisical aspects as well.

(And Kamui "not being dead" really depends on anime, ova, or manga. Manga-verse... I don't think we'll ever have a conclution to T-T)

I remember hearing somewhere that Taniguchi or the head writer likes CLAMP and has incorporated a lot of CLAMP-y elements into the story. But I'd be highly surprised if CLAMP was directly or officially involved.

It's completelly Kamui-like... it's just kinda of... *OMG!!! KAMUI CAME BACK FROM X!!!!* XDDDDD Crazy? XDD Totally!

But there's a lot of characters in CG how looks like another ones from CLAMP series... I always thougth about Kamui-Lulu... and that metal-finger-thing... that's in a picture from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles too... but in Syaoran... of course, is Suzaku's twin brother [?] XDDD

Even that last scene from the ending, where Suzaku and Lulu are together... well... that's COMPLETELY Kamui/Fuuma from Artbook Infinity... XDD

I thought the whole art for the new ending sequence was very much similar to X/1999. The poses, the clothes, the feathers, chains and wings are all common themes found in Clamp's artwork for X. I actually thought " hahaha! It Kamui acting as LULU and an older Syaran posing as SUZAKU.

Gino and Anya's personalities actually remind me of Sorata and Arashi.

Now, wouldn't it be something if LULU's geass came from Seishirou-san's gouged out eye?!?! LOL

But Kaguya is a Sumeragi, maybe she has a carnivorous cherry tree stashed away somewhere. The sakura will devour Schneizel -sama. LOL

when I saw the egg in the first season I thought of X.

I love the idea of his eye being from Seishirou-san. hmmm. perhaps Lulu and Suzu would end up more like Seishiro and Subaru? that'll be interestin.
