V.V request~

I've been thinking about cosplaying as V.V in an upcoming anime con in my area next month, and although I'm pretty clear about materials I may need, my mom offered to help me with it. So now I'm curious if any of you have a detailed scan, high res full body screencap, or even a accurate fanart to offer us as a refrence. :D

I'm still at loss about how I'm going to make those... whatever the heck he wears in his hair. xD Milk cartons+fabric+a handful of hair clips?

And do you think blonde belly-button length hair will do well enough for him? 8D

As far as the hair, I'd really suggest going with something that isn't as long as it should be. People at cons will step on ANYTHING that drags, I can say from experience of nearly having skirts and capes pulled down a few times by careless feet - I can't imagine how unpleasant it would be to have something on your head get pulled!

You could probably secure them using clips and/or wires, I can't say without a picture of VV in front of me. If all else fails, that quick-drying foam-clay isn't a bad cosplay material, it's really light (but fragile), quick to dry, and easily painted. It's not as smooth to use as something like sculpy but the lack of weight really makes up for it.

If you are willing to spend 80 bucks on hair, this one (http://www.amphigory.com/wigs_really_long.html) would be perfect. But considering powercorrupts' suggestion, maybe a shorter one would be a better idea. Good luck ^^
