Regarding 2, I always figured that when he Geass'd wall carve girl he put in some conditions that would keep her from doing anything weird when she couldn't do it due to leaving campus for whatever reason, being bedridden, etc, not just for her sake but so that she wouldn't draw suspicion to herself/the academy/him.

Actually, in the mail magazines, the staff (director, producer or writer, I forgot which) said that after the Wall Carve Girl went back to Britannia, every night she would try to escape from her house and go to Area 11 to carve..crosses. So, her family has her locked up every night.

I've come to the conclusion that this is a futuristic soap opera and I love every minute of it even though I dislike normal soaps. ^__^;;

Although you should add something about Shirley still being in love with him despite him killing her father to #5.
