Looks like GG is no longer subbing Geass :( Shame, I thought they were the best out of the subbing groups...

EDIT: Although this is on the GG main page, people are saying this could be some kind of joke? Apparently anonymous made a fake Photoshop of their news page, and posted it on 4chan. I guess someone from GG thought it funny enough to make into an actual news post.

I'm pretty sure it's from old Pepperidge Farm commercials, where they talked about how things used to be made and after every "Do you remember when [insert phrase here]?" question they would answer "Pepperidge Farm remembers." Your comment made me think of that.

It still sounds great, like I would actually hang around there. The front page now isn't really that...appealing.

Nah, I know about you mean about the "old" comment. I'm in some fandoms where the new fans just plain suck whereas the older fans are great and it makes you reminisce. I'm sure every pretty fandom is like that to some extent though. Don't think of it as old though. "Mature" is a much better term to use.

Ohhhhh. Well, that makes sense then.

[gg] has completely given up on having a forum. (Hence their less than appealing front page.) If you wanna hang out and feel cool, you have to ping them on IRC. Except that I never figured out how to use IRC, so I mostly hang out and feel lame.

Yes... yes... *strokes chin in a plotting fashion* yes, let us refer to ourselves as mature, those of us who got into this fandom before it exploded into uncontrollable enormity... hrrmmm... yes... that will make us feel important instead of just old and hopelessly geeky... mmmmmm... yes, I think that idea will do nicely...
