and of those knightmares look like an Angel from Evangelion (the one with teeth and red lips) or is it just my imagination?

nightmare, check the first page on this scan. I'd say they're all closer to Eureka 7, namely Anemone's "The End". Though there are many series with that "living mecha" look to them. (the creepy teeth are just shoulder armor on one of them)
