You may post pictures and links, but if their site explicitly states to 'not post or reproduce', please adhere to their wishes. If they ask you to take a picture down, please do so.

I think fanartists that do not want promoted are in the minority, so not allowing any would be a loss for the community in general.

I deleted the previous post since it seemed like it would give the wrong impression to a casual reader.

As for reposting fanart/sharing links and for those who might not have Japanese characters enabled (like me ;___;) perhaps could there be a mod/sticky post of sites that are OK to repost fanart from? And so, those who can read Japanese and can see the font could comment with sites that are "free" to share?

There are way too many fanartists to keep track of. Most fanartist understand the nature of the internet and have the same english disclaimer on their websites that should be obvious to any passerby who can read english.

There have only been a handful of japanese fanart posts, so we'll leave it up to the discretion of the community members for now.
