You may post pictures and links, but if their site explicitly states to 'not post or reproduce', please adhere to their wishes. If they ask you to take a picture down, please do so.

I think fanartists that do not want promoted are in the minority, so not allowing any would be a loss for the community in general.

I deleted the previous post since it seemed like it would give the wrong impression to a casual reader.

If we never allowed any japanese fanart, it would be sad. I ♥ japanese fanart and doujinshi.

Well, we could make it so that fanart posts are locked? I also think it would be a shame to not at the very least share links. ;-; So I'm glad we're going to still be allowed that.

if we wanted to protect all copyrights and stuff, the whole community would have to be locked...and i don't really want to do that. fandom thrives on being in the grey area, so i'm going with 'use your own judgement'.
