That I am being taken seriously in a post about an image is silly so I'll just say if you want to see Lelouch as dead or seme, have at it. Way to kill my fun. I get the imagery. I just didn't want to focus on the obvious for once. It's a beautiful image, regardless how people want to see it. That's the power of it.

I will point out that it's a running gag for some people that Clamp likes to draw Lelouch topping Suzaku in some way. Again, it's not serious. It's a lol. I don't do topping arguments because I love my Lelouch and Suzaku in all flavors.

Actually, looking at the pic a bit longer, I have to take back what I said and say that the fact that it looks like Lelouch is supporting himself with his left leg actually suggests that he's not dead, simply resting with his eyes closed. If he were dead, his leg would likely have slid down along the chess piece.

As BLATANTLY GAY as the picture is, I'll go against the crowd and say it doesn't give me "Lelouch tops" vibes.

Mainly because I can't see it as anything other than Lelouch lying dead in Suzaku's arms - hence the wibbly face, the fact Lelouch is in Emperor colours and Suzaku's in Zero's colours, and the freaking lilys.

It just makes me sad. ;_;

Oh, the DEATH motif is totally there. That's undeniable. But the positioning and symbolism is what gives people the top vibes. And we're all dorks who'd rather play with that than bawwwwww. At least I know I am. :( I'm tired of bawwwing. So I pretend he's "sleeping" and live in my happy denial land. We have magical unicorns.

I personally believe SuzaLulu/LuluSuza should be a versatile relationship - Suzaku tops more frequently in my opinion though (if only because of Lelouch and his STAMINA. Plus Lulu's girlier looks.)

Position-wise... it still looks like Suzalulu to me.
Facial Expression-wise - Suzaku's making too uke a face for it to be very SuzaLulu.

Also, I'm pretty sure someone will fix the scan soon enough :D

Agreed. I always picture them to have a versatile relationship, simply because I think neither of them is willing to take it up the ass every single time.

But Suzaku topping is probably more enjoyable for both because of... obvious reasons, so that's how it would probably play out more often than not.

Also, I have the theory that Lelouch WANTS Suzaku to top him (secretly, he'd never admit that out loud), because he first fell in love with him when Suzaku was a mean, domineering bully. So in my headcanon, Lelouch finds it totally hot when Suzaku goes dominant on him.

And for CLAMP that's rare. I really like how Suzaku is watching over Lelouch's (eternal) sleep.
