15th Place : Stage 16, Lelouch's "Mao, shut up!".
14th Place : Stage 8, Zero's "We are the Black Knights!".

12th Place : Stage 20, Euphie welcoming Suzaku as he returned safely.

My personal possibly wanky conclusion : Japanese viewers are really, really sentimental. Not that I think they weren't good scenes, though.

I have so many things I could say on this topic, but again, so few of them wouldn't be wanky! XD

So I'll just say that....was 'make you compact' in the original "Episode 15 Favourite Scene" lineup? I don't remember. We love it, but I don't know about them.

I'm actually surprised compact/Australia didn't make it as well. 4channers love raving about it. >_>

I was very disappointed about that. Kallen's "Thanks mom!" scene, but not the inimitable scream? :/

(Of course, I don't remember what scenes were in the running. But all the 'best of' of previous episodes were present, IIRC)

Where is Suzaku & Lulu's "it's not fun because you're not here." OH GEASS NO! phone moment? I forgot which episode, but it was a scene where the student council gathers around in a room and Lulu is off doing his Black Knights job.

14, IIRC. Right after he screamed "Because you're here!!" at Zero in the previous episode. lol Geass so subtle.

First on the ranking is the morbid phone conversation?? I would pick the second "Dakara...!". Continuity, yeah.

I think the bestest scene was where Shirley kissed Lulu >:D or when Shirley forgot Lulu :( GR.

The lack of "The Shriek" in Episode 6 means this list is useless. It didn't have to be number one, but it should have been on there.

Same goes for "I'll make you compact!!".

Although, number one, I can't really argue with that. That scene was awesome.

Well, that alone was not wanky, but as there are quite a few Asians here who IIRC were very touched by the more emotional moments, I don't want to risk anything ugly. And, well, America does have the Kanon 2006 crowd. XD

Though I doubt most Asians are as sappy as the Japanese.....

I don't get to watch most American dramas, but seeing the fandom size, I can believe that. This is the anime sample space, though. Better to run prepared.

well, you sure don't see those *annoying* sappy TV dramas in East Asia here in America, the most emotion you see is from some angst brother and his angst brother who go around doing stupid stuff .__. *whistles*

Hm, ~~why the heck are there more Asians here~~ Though, I believe the source of this difference lies in where the person is. For example, if you were bred in er...say, Japan, whether you're of oriental descent, you'd probably like those sappy dramas, it's more of a situational induced culture thing.
