R2 Episode 2 Screencaps: The Japan Liberation Plan

Pardon the low-res screencaps. I just finished watching the second episode, and it is unfortunate that I can't screencap everything.

Here's my picture summary of episode 2.

- Flashback to the stand-off in Episode 25
- Suzaku and Lelouch shoot at the same time, and Lelouch's gun gets blown off, Suzaku's earpiece is shot off
- Suzaku takes down Lelouch and brings him to the Emperor
- The Emperor has Geass in both eyes
- The Emperor Geasses Lelouch to forget everything
- Lelouch ponders about his 'brother' and Nunnally's whereabouts
- Karen corners Lelouch and points a gun at him, demanding answers about what he said back in Episode 25
- Lelouch eventually gains back her trust, and points out her state of almost undress
- Lelouch gives Karen his jacket
- The Vincent is activated, and takes down almost all of the Black Knights
- Urabe sacrifices himself so they can escape, apologizing to Laksharta for deactivating his life-support suit
- Lelouch blows up the Babel tower
- Governor-General Carares is killed when the Babel tower collapses on them. ^^;
- Guilford takes over command, and is shocked when a familiar masked person appears on Television
- Diethard has the best reaction upon seeing Zero alive (he's with Laksharta and Sayoko)
- The student council watches the events with Viletta
- The Knights of the Round also watch the events taking place
- More Diethard fangasms
- Zero makes his speech: "People of Japan, I have returned!"
- It turns out that Zero is making his speech at where the Chinese ambassadors Cao Hai and XingKe are staying
- XingKe goes out to fight the Britannian grunts who are attacking them
- The Vincent suddenly appears and the Pilot (Rollo) comes out, with the intent to kill Zero
- And surprise, surprise, a Geass in Rollo's right eye appears.

Okay.. that's what happen. And Rollo had Geass? I had no idea (I've been staying away from spoilers 2 weeks before 1st episode air >.<)

[identity profile] sapphire-pyro.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:08 am (UTC)(link)
physical strength battle . . . lelouch being pwned is expected xD LOL

but more importantly . . .WHERE'S C.C.???? X_X

[identity profile] powercorrupts.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
If I recall correctly and wasn't misunderstanding what was going on, she spent part of the episode chillin with Zero, and part of it planting bombs in the Babel Tower. And I'm not quite sure where she was for the rest of it.

[identity profile] sapphire-pyro.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 11:28 am (UTC)(link)
I thought she was absent the whole time x_x . . .Thank you ^_^

[identity profile] initials.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:12 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] wing-goddessxxx.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:12 am (UTC)(link)
AH! I Watched the eppy on Keyhole TV too.

Seriously i hate Suzaku now. He's turned into an idiot. That Rollo person is bad news too.

and now Lulu's dad AND Rollo has a geass?! Rollo was a huge surprise for me xD

sdfiysgflhsgbflhs this episode is making me spazz a lot, sorry xD

thanks for the summary/screencaps!

[identity profile] aida-furion.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 10:11 am (UTC)(link)
I agree... Suzaku is a fool!!!

[identity profile] zerorevenge.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 04:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Not to start a flame war, but how is Suzaku now a fool?

[identity profile] kaiserkehl.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
It was like, like I knew I shouldn't click on the lj-cut, because I haven't seen the episode and blahblah but I just couldn't help it and yeah, I read everything and saw all the screencaps ;__; which kinda ruins the thrill of watching the episode, but DAMN!!! it looks really really good! cant' wait to see it (one with subs *prays to go for one of those*)

[identity profile] powercorrupts.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
I was pretty pleasantly surprised by this episode. I couldn't understand all of lot of the more exposition-heavy dialogue parts, though, so I have no real clue about those. I liked that it was going right into exposition this early in the season, though. Knowing Geass it'll lose that steam soon (with next episode looking like school hijinks, it might do so very quickly), but better that it at least have it now. I'm very curious about what the Emperor was saying and Zero's speach at the end. I really couldn't grok either, sadly, as they were the two parts that I found the most interesting out of the episode.

The parallels with the second episode of the first season seemed less heavy-handed than, though every bit as present as last episode's first season parallels. I don't mind either, because I like the effect it makes.

Rollo is truly the successor of FUCKING Ribbons. I wholeheartedly approve. (And he even has a gold mech, now that's irony!)

[identity profile] aestalitz.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, Rollo, I hope you turn out to be a dangerous shouta after all ♥

So... a person who has been Geassed can be Geassed again provided that the one Geassing is a different user?

[identity profile] glenngunnerzero.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
No I think only Lelouch has that restriction. Considering his can install absolute obedience and control into whoever he does it too (even another geass user.)

Emp just seems to be able to make them forget about stuff

[identity profile] rainbow-cnxn.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
FUCKING RIBBONSROLLO!

Man, that's a pretty intense episode. Haven't watched it yet, but I've spoiled myself rotten already. *spamming F5 to hell in /a/ right now*

I'm sure we'll get the RAW out soon. ;)

P.S. Carares is dead by the 2nd episode. BIGGEST SURPRISE OF THE CENTURY. [/sarcasm]

[identity profile] halevy.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:31 am (UTC)(link)
I don't understand why the Emperor would Geass Lulu and not just... kill him lulz. MISSION FAILED.

[identity profile] tanaiel.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I thought so, too.
Makes me wonder what kind of plans the Emperor has. -.-

[identity profile] eire-endellion.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 10:04 am (UTC)(link)
Because it's all part of the Emperor's DARK, EVIL PLAN >=D
(Or maybe he actualy has a shread of fatherly affection for his children?)

[identity profile] monstez.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 11:56 am (UTC)(link)
If I'm not wrong, it's to use him to lure out C.C? They are using him to catch her right?

[identity profile] zerorevenge.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
He's probably setting his son up to one day lead Britannia...

[identity profile] powercorrupts.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps Lulu is just entertaining him that much. He always seems very entertained during some of the more terrible moments.

[identity profile] himehikari.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:34 am (UTC)(link)
Can't wait for the subbed version. Thanks for sharing this!

[identity profile] celadonite.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 09:57 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks for sharing. Now, it would be hilarious if it turns out that

1)Suzaku had been Geassed by the Emperor pre-series into being loyal to him.
2)Rollo is V.V.

[identity profile] gatekeepers-21.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
That would make me so SAD!

But would explain EVERYTHING.

[identity profile] chansonxchou.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
[laughed hard at the 1st one]

Omg, if Suzaku had been Geass'd by the Emperor during those blank 7 years to be loyal to him, it will be epic.

[identity profile] pinao88.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 10:06 am (UTC)(link)
Oh my god, the Emperor is a gigantic statue of pure, unadulterated manliness.

[identity profile] zerorevenge.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed! And with Norio Wakamota's voice! It just DEMANDS AND COMMANDS respect.

[identity profile] xtine06.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 11:17 am (UTC)(link)
the emperor having geass on both eyes is not a major shock for me since i kinda expected it that he have a really powerful geass..bt rollo is having geass tooo ..it is something new for me..now i am really interested on who this guy is..

and so zero is back!such powerful words.."people of japan: i am back!"

[identity profile] mossygirl.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 11:34 am (UTC)(link)
Rollo is ♥ ♥ ♥

<<-- my icon pretty much sums this episode up.

[identity profile] kanasaii.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I LOVE YOUR ICON. IT SUMS UP MY REACTION TO THIS EPISODE TOO.
BRAIN-BROKEN.

[identity profile] monstez.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 12:00 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG! What an epi! Thanks! I hope this time if Lelouch has the chance, kill Suzaku, dun hesitate! And why does Rollo wants to kill Lelouch? Him being geassed by the Emperor to do that????

[identity profile] kadekmoment.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 12:06 pm (UTC)(link)
. . . s-suzaku haven't we learned our lesson yet about restraining people by, you know. Sitting on them.

[identity profile] lulu-quality.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
This episode made me giggle inside. Bondage!Lelouch + Unbuttoned Shirt!Lelouch + eeeeviiilll laughter made me so incredibly happy. This episode was completely pure-unadulterated awesomeness from start to finish, especially with Rollo's teleporting h4x. Gah! Next week must come NOW!!!! O_O

[identity profile] kanasaii.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I have been so used to seeing Lelouch in all states of undress that this made me laugh so hard.
