Pardon the low-res screencaps. I just finished watching the second episode, and it is unfortunate that I can't screencap everything.
Here's my picture summary of episode 2.
- Flashback to the stand-off in Episode 25
- Suzaku and Lelouch shoot at the same time, and Lelouch's gun gets blown off, Suzaku's earpiece is shot off
- Suzaku takes down Lelouch and brings him to the Emperor
- The Emperor has Geass in both eyes
- The Emperor Geasses Lelouch to forget everything
- Lelouch ponders about his 'brother' and Nunnally's whereabouts
- Karen corners Lelouch and points a gun at him, demanding answers about what he said back in Episode 25
- Lelouch eventually gains back her trust, and points out her state of almost undress
- Lelouch gives Karen his jacket
- The Vincent is activated, and takes down almost all of the Black Knights
- Urabe sacrifices himself so they can escape, apologizing to Laksharta for deactivating his life-support suit
- Lelouch blows up the Babel tower
- Governor-General Carares is killed when the Babel tower collapses on them. ^^;
- Guilford takes over command, and is shocked when a familiar masked person appears on Television
- Diethard has the best reaction upon seeing Zero alive (he's with Laksharta and Sayoko)
- The student council watches the events with Viletta
- The Knights of the Round also watch the events taking place
- More Diethard fangasms
- Zero makes his speech: "People of Japan, I have returned!"
- It turns out that Zero is making his speech at where the Chinese ambassadors Cao Hai and XingKe are staying
- XingKe goes out to fight the Britannian grunts who are attacking them
- The Vincent suddenly appears and the Pilot (Rollo) comes out, with the intent to kill Zero
- And surprise, surprise, a Geass in Rollo's right eye appears.

The parallels with the second episode of the first season seemed less heavy-handed than, though every bit as present as last episode's first season parallels. I don't mind either, because I like the effect it makes.
Rollo is truly the successor of FUCKING Ribbons. I wholeheartedly approve. (And he even has a gold mech, now that's irony!)

So... a person who has been Geassed can be Geassed again provided that the one Geassing is a different user?

Emp just seems to be able to make them forget about stuff

RIBBONSROLLO!Man, that's a pretty intense episode. Haven't watched it yet, but I've spoiled myself rotten already. *spamming F5 to hell in /a/ right now*
I'm sure we'll get the RAW out soon. ;)
P.S. Carares is dead by the 2nd episode. BIGGEST SURPRISE OF THE CENTURY. [/sarcasm]

1)Suzaku had been Geassed by the Emperor pre-series into being loyal to him.
2)Rollo is V.V.

But would explain EVERYTHING.

Omg, if Suzaku had been Geass'd by the Emperor during those blank 7 years to be loyal to him, it will be epic.
