In another forum, I clicked on a link for a xxxHolic doujin...and I was pleasantly surprised by the Geass reference in this one!

Watanuki getting stuck in the Zero mask?

Now I wish CLAMP would make a reference like that in an acutal chapter, since they've crossed over everything else that they've ever touched. :(

I havn't seen xxxHolic in forever. But I don't think they can, Code Geass' is Sunrise through and through, It just has Clamp Artists for the character designs.

I think it's because they don't deal with Code Geass' story, just the character design. CLAMP did the illustration for Sohryuuden novel (if I'm not mistaken) and so far I didn't see characters from that title being mentioned anywhere else ^^a

I think they influenced the story a bit. It almost reads like a CLAMP work. I mean, the MAGIC EYES, best friends to worst enemies, total amount of implied GHEY, the weekly WTFery, and the random scenes of feathers and sakura blowing by gives me serious CLAMP vibes.

And I'm still betting Lulu's gonna get that eye gouged out.

Feathers are flying around after CC's memories in episode 25 (maybe there are more, but I remember this scene being especially WTF? feathers?)

Also special mention for the Tokyo Tower that is recurrent in Clamp's works and appeared at least twice in R1.


But.... don't think Clamp was involved in the story directly. These things seem more like anthems to their work. I remember them being shocked by Clovis' premature death, as they hadn't been told anything about the death list it seems.

I haven't seen this doujin before but thanks for share it, because it's really a good doujin ( with DoumekixWatanuki :D )

Also, in the second episode of xXx Holic Kei, at the third minute, Watanuki imitate Lelouch and I LOL'ed XD I know CLAMP have just made the chara design of Code Geass but I think they've influenced the story, but just a little bit. Code Geass have a lot of angst, best friends who become the worst ennemies, ghey poses, like a lot of CLAMP's mangas XD

I think the helmet comes off with a button o: you push it and then the back part kinda slides up... like there's a button that makes the eye piece move, and one that opens up the mask.

Btw, for those who watch "Hayate no Gotoku!", you would have noticed that in Episode 33, they rolled 3 fandom into 1 - the Puppet Butler coincidentally looks like Watanuki, has the power of (crack) Geass AND is voiced by FukuJun. XD

I've never read/watched xxxHolic, but that was awesome. XD It was amusing enough to see the mask on someone wearing a sweatshirt, but then the hair and glasses... XD GREAT.

What is with all this eye-gouging stuff I'm hearing about? I read a lot of CLAMP manga, but not all of them so I geuss I missed something... I heard that in Tsubasa (gah, read the first volume, hated how Sakura turned into a princess type- she's a kick ass clow master, not a wimp!), Syaoran eats some other guy's eye, but... does the eye gouging come up anywhere else?
