In another forum, I clicked on a link for a xxxHolic doujin...and I was pleasantly surprised by the Geass reference in this one!

Now I wish CLAMP would make a reference like that in an acutal chapter, since they've crossed over everything else that they've ever touched. :(

I think they influenced the story a bit. It almost reads like a CLAMP work. I mean, the MAGIC EYES, best friends to worst enemies, total amount of implied GHEY, the weekly WTFery, and the random scenes of feathers and sakura blowing by gives me serious CLAMP vibes.

And I'm still betting Lulu's gonna get that eye gouged out.

Feathers are flying around after CC's memories in episode 25 (maybe there are more, but I remember this scene being especially WTF? feathers?)

Also special mention for the Tokyo Tower that is recurrent in Clamp's works and appeared at least twice in R1.


But.... don't think Clamp was involved in the story directly. These things seem more like anthems to their work. I remember them being shocked by Clovis' premature death, as they hadn't been told anything about the death list it seems.
