Episode 14 Summary Out

シャーリーに秘密を知られたのではないかと疑い、彼女の後を追うルルーシュ。どう始末をつけるのかC.C.に問われるが、答えは持たなかった。その頃、シャーリーはナリタでマオという謎の男と出会う。マオは人の思考を読むギアス能力者だった。彼に操られるまま、ある罪を償うため死を選ぼうとするシャーリー。C.C.は、かつて自分がギアスの能力を与えた男と対峙し、ルルーシュは真相を知ってしまったシャーリーとの別れを決断する。

Suspicious about whether Shirley got to know (his) secret, Lelouch follows her back. Although (he) asks CC to reveal what happened (about the aftermath of the ep 13. battle), she doesn't have the answer. Around this time, Shirley encounters enigmatic Mao in Narita. Mao is a man capable of reading thoughts with the power of his Geass. Shirley chooses death in order to compensate for a certain crime; Mao actually is pulling the strings. C.C confronts the man she once gave the power of Geass to, and Lelouch decides on separation with Shirley, who knows the truth.

Ha ha, no; I think what it means is that under Mao's influence, she chooses that for Lelouch as recompense for the crime of indirectly murdering her Father. That's what I think it actually means. These summaries are always written rather strangely, they're a bit ... scatty. But she might still die anyway. Who knows. I wouldn't put it past Lelouch to interpret 'seperation' as 'kill her now'...XD

Ah well, 'separation' will have to do. At least then Lelouch can open his eyes to how much he loves Kallen Suzaku Orange-kun ^^ Shirley's character annoys the hell out of me... I have no idea why! Maybe this new development will make me like her more...

Well, I am *sort* of semi impressed; she did hang out on the battlefield to check it out which is developing a spine, sort of. She didn't completely disregard what Vialetta said as being impossible. I grudgingly nod to her for that.

I admire how the voice actress has consistantly made her voice annoying. How she's a carbon copy of Orihime from Bleach. Oh, and how she's completely and utterly 'cute' in a way that makes me rather ill... Kallen, Vialetta, Cornellia and C.C, now they are real women who aren't going to go all gooey when the person they "love more than their papa" gets hurt. Although Cornellia does have a soft spot for Euphie...

Agreed! I wonder how Lulu will deal with him. Poor Lulu; he has to worry about Shirley, Lancelot, Cornelia, and now Mao. He must be stressed out! XD

I wonder what the "certain crime" Shirely committed...can't wait until Thursday arrives!

The phrasing is funny; I think the crime they're referring to is Lelouch's indirect murder of her Father.

Ah, I'm fairly thick skinned when it comes to people bashing my favourites. For example, Suzaku doesn't get much lovin on this community but it doesn't particularly bother me. And you're right about Clovis. He's a Princess Princess throwback for sure.

We haven't seen enough of Shirley to judge character development yet. You could say that the 'change' is merely a desire for revenge, i.e. tracking down Lulu in hopes of finding the Black Knights and attempting to shoot Zero. Even so, I can't see Shirley ever managing to get her revenge. She's too... flimsy is the only word I can think of... Now Suzaku, after his mental breakdown and rant about injustices of the world, I can see him having the resolve to pull the trigger. Shirley just... I don't know, I don't think she could have killed Zero even when she didn't know it was Lelouch.

So Shirley's change and motivation are exactly the same as Lelouch's then, following the murder of a parent as they do? The irony.

But unlike Lelouch, she doesn't pull the trigger it seems. So. Does the fact that she doesn'tend up a murderer too make her a weaker person or a stronger one?

Clovis could definitely pull off a gothloli look! XD Poor little drama queen Clovis.

It is rather ironic. I find her the weaker of the two, but that's because I'm a fan of Lelouch. His resolve wavers but he never once gives up entirely. Perhaps it helps that I'm a vindictive bitch myself, but I'm hoping that Lulu goes insane at some point and massacres everyone...

You're talking about reolve to murder another human being you know! I've said it before and will again, it amuses me no end how far Lelouch's fans will justify his murderous ways! XDDD

(I like Lelouch. He's no where near my favourite character, but I like him. I find him very very interesting as he's so deeply in denial of the fact that he's just like the rest of his family, *and* so very morally messed up. But I am really enjoying seeing him receive his due payback. ^-^ And I looking forward to Mao taking that up a notch. Heh heh.)

Ugh I do not have high expectations for Mao. Unless he manages to get all up and Lelouch's base, and then I'll love him forever, as I do with everyone else. Other than that, happy to see more of C.C.'s storyline but would prefer it delivered in a less cliched package.

He could always surprise me. Cornelia surprised me muchly since I wasn't expecting to like her. But like I said, I fall for anyone who either kicks Lelouch's ass or tops him hard. It's like a litmus test for me.

Pretty much yeah. That fight was wicked. I think top point went to C.C. though for getting him all hot and bothered. Exception being Shirley but she's handling things much better than most girl characters in her situation so she graduates from extreme disinterest to "all right, how are you going to screw over your ultimate crush now"? ^^;; If not for her, Suzaku wouldn't have been able to practically dismember Lelouch's Knightmare piece by piece so I'm very grateful.

You see, I have this sadistic love for character that's usually pretty tame, but Lelouch just brings out the worst in me. I want to see him put through the fire and be worthy of his convictions.

I had a little more respect for Shirley, for her reaction to Vialetta's words being 'Sorry Lelouch, but I *have* to know for sure' and not 'Noooooo, my precious Lulu chan would *never* do such a thing'...yeah, she grew a bit of a spine. ;)

In order to avoid a spoiler for when the translation comes about. I'm already scared. Why? Simple:

1) I saw Shirley Dies
2) I see Lelouch Laughs
3) ???
4) Profit!

If they kill off my second favorite character, and Lelouch is okay with it... um, I've misjudged the guy. I'll come back to throw in a real post when I've seen ep.14 and none of this is a spoiler.

Um? Shirley might die. Lelouch might even kill her. But that's not what the spoiler says. I believe that when it says Shirley chooses death, it means she chooses it for the perpetrator of the crime, under Mao's influence.

(I stand by you in your concern though; I was sick for a week worrying about Jeremiah kun!)

Yes, I love Jeremiah. It's the old hurt comfort dynamic, gets me everytime (except with Lelouch. I just kinda hang out and laugh at Lelouch! XDD). I just want to defend Jeremiah's honour. ^-^

I am sure he'll be back; he's too obsessed to give up now! :D
