But where are their TRUE loyalties?

 Spoilers within.

According to the TVGuide summary for R2 23, Schneizel is manipulating/controlling Nunnally, meaning that the 'enemy' business is either him twisting her thoughts or an outright forced!gunpoint!Nunnally declaration. If it's the former, then it'll be harder to deal with, but if it's the latter all they really need to do is take down Schneizel himself. And Schneizel, minus all of his fancy toys, seems kinda squishy.

Of course there is also the possibility that Nunnally really does all of a sudden, out of the blue hate Lelouch and Suzaku, but I'd rather not consider that because I have a major soft spot for her and, as bad as Lelouch can get, Schneizel is unquestionably worse. I mean, seriously. Even Charles thought that Schneizel was too ruthless.

And then there's C.C. We know that she really feels a strong bond with Lelouch, but what precisely does she have on her mind? Is she worried for him? Concerned about a plan of hers? We simply don't know. Does Schneizel even care that C.C. exists or is he just concerned with his death-from-above 1984 jerkassery?

What do you think?

Didn't read this. Just reminding that if you are going to mention 23, you might want to put spoilers in the LJ-cut. It's kind of misleading.

Spoiler tag, please.

[identity profile] nokiirat.livejournal.com 2008-09-07 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
if the episode is already out, it's not technically a spoiler, though warning the community that the post is about the current episode would be good. (people will usually just write that the discussion has spoiler info about episode blahblah)

:)

i meant for tagging sake, a discussion post should not be tagged a spoiler unless it is for a future episode.

eh...hope that makes sense.

the spoiler tag was actually made for posts with spoilers for things 8 episodes later or something, not the episodes out within the month XD

Considering Nunnally has the trigger for the WMD in the preview I think it's the former and not the latter. Schneizel wouldn't hold a gun to someone's head like that. He is a slimey bastard that loves to manipulate. It's what he does best.

yea, i agree. lelouch should definitely put jeremiah's geass canceler to more important uses considering how he has practically not used it to its full advantage at all yet.

God Nunali. Everything would've been just swell if you had stayed dead ):

I'm waiting for her to open her eyes and reveal she has a Geass... *cough* What they've thrown us crazier sh** before... >_> *cough*

That, or have it not be her --- just Sayoko pretending again, or someone else. *shrug*

How about this: IS THAT A NUNNALLY CLONE???

Right I'm just fooling around. But honestly, I do hope she said that because she's been manipulated, and that she doesn't have a geass. That would just ruin things/make things a whole lot worse and more confusing. Ay.

PLZ STAY GOOD NUNNALLY.

I think it has to do with Schneizel screwing over her mind; the former.

Although, didn't the emperor say that he used his geass on her to make her blind or something? I wonder why she's still blind.

People don't give Nunnally enough credit. Though I wouldn't put it past Schneizel if he was manipulating her, she is also smart and has a spine. She is just pissed with Suzaku and Lelouch, and taking matter in her own hands. If that just so happens to be beneficial for Schneizel, then so be it :DD

I can't wait for next episode because we FINALLY get to see what Schneizel is thinking. I cannot understand how he thinks, and it takes some brain cells to figure him out. I don't know what Nunnally wants to do either, but at least she will try and set Lelouch's wrongs straight.
As for Cornelia, if she weren't there, I'd be sure Schneizel was completely manipulating Nunnally.
