I remember reading a fic post in this community long ago. It's a one-shot from Suzaku's POV. It's an AU too. Lelouch's army wins, the world is his. And Suzaku thinks of the old days, how things lead to this moment. I remember Suzaku musing how he and lelouch don't like each other anymore and how they aren't even friends anymore. Lelouch says something like "Blood makes the empire,"...or sth like that.

In the end, Suzaku thinks of his "peace-without-blood" slogan he used to say and said, "How naive we are"...sth like that.
