A question for the experts

In one picture drama, Suzaku is besides Rivalz who is fixing his bike. Suzaku talks about an older Britannian woman he knew who was also good with bikes, who took care of him after his home was destroyed the war. I think he even mentions that this woman worked for the military, and this was a big influence on why he decided to join.

In an episode of the anime, if I recall correctly, Cecile mentions how Suzaku reminded her of someone, which is why she likes to look after him.

Question: Is it confirmed by canon that Cecile was the older woman who took in Suzaku after the invasion for a time?

If so, I would not be surprised that Sunrise forgot they planted this chekov's gun.

It was from some director interview that is now part of Code Geass mythos. I say mythos because no one now can find a translation or a source for that interview--no scans, no audio, no transcript, no solid proof of it ever having existed. Instead, it is hearsay upon hearsay passed from one newbie fan to another and simply accepted as truth in all corners of this fandom. But we don't mind because it makes sense and fits with the rest of his backstory and characterization.

Basically, is this factoid canon or fanon? No one really knows anymore, but it's pretty much assumed by everyone, so for all things fannish, there really is no distinction at all.

I don't know if it will help or not, but I hear that Picture Drama 8 is going to be about Cecile's past. If this is true, then maybe we'll get some light shed on the situation.

hmmm I always thought the person Cecile cared for was Rakshata, I thought maybe when She worked with Loyd and Cecile they were close. That might be a little propsterous but its just a thought, which doesnt make since if the thing about Suzaku and this women is true. The thought of Suzaku being violated by an old woman....x]

I'm pretty sure it's never revealed who the woman is. The same case as with Kallen's dad, Naoto and Rivalz's dad. Yeah, missing plotlines.
