Excellent point. I'm an American who doesn't live very far from Toronto...but there's still a slight difference in pronunciation of some words. And when dubs were more commonly made in Toronto, their accents would always be very apparent. While my personal example wouldn't be as effective as someone from the UK or Australia, I can definitely see where you're coming from.
....come to think of it, I did watch a show that was dubbed in the UK once. Can't remember what it was called though o_O lol Something about a girl who was transported to another world populated by....munchkins or something (not wizard of oz I swear lol)
