Isn't the paper crane symbolism "make a wish come true"? When she makes a thousand paper cranes, it will happen at the same time as something awesome (Euphie announcing the special zone, Britannia leaving, Lelouch becoming emperor) or something terrible for ironic effect (Lulu dies).
Oh yeah, definitely my favorite female character in the series (with Cornelia and Cecile running around second and third). I have no idea why, but she's just so cute. I don't think Euphie will die, though. I think something awful will happen to her, but I have, uh, hope for her?
Yeah, and it's been nagging me since I did. >D I think Suzaku definitely knows that they're the emperor's children, since I seem to remember (but could be mistaken) that they have a conversation about keeping the prince-thing quiet...? And maybe when Mao kidnaps Nunally, I thought Suzaku had the impression that it was because they were royalty. And I can understand not mentioning Lulu to Euphie, I don't see what the harm would have been flipping the situation around.
