I hope that's the way it works because they've been teasing us with the Geass aspects long enough to not deliver something. Although I would like Lelouch to come somewhat close to a resolution with Britannia and his issues.
Also, I think I found that site that has the cute royal fanart. It has the usual characters, but it has Schneizel catching a Euphie as she falls from a tree. XD
